This is how I post the pics in my own reviews, there are probably other ways.

1) First I have the pics I want saved as a .jpg file somewhere local on my PC.  In the 'pictures' folder works well ( assuming you have a windows 10 PC at least.)  But it also works to have the files saved somewhere like c:\temp , as you can browse to them.
2) When your posting a review (or a reply) , then at the bottom of the page click on [Choose files]  which you should see under Attach Image(s)
3) In the pop up that comes up, select the .jpg files or whatever you have your pics saved as. (you may need to browse to them)
3) Now it should state at the bottom of the page, "Files You Selected: " plus the file name.  The pics may not display in preview , but should display after you hit 'post'. 
4) Sometimes I hit edit right after I post the review, as this is the easiest way to move the pic(s) around so they display in the right part of the review.

Many thanks for this, however, I have an Apple MacBook and I do not wish to save them even temporarily to the Mac. I thought I could just drag and drop them (Mac's are usually very easy to do this), but this does not seem to work.
I shall fiddle around some more as I do prefer reviews with pics.

It's usually quite easy Church1ll. If you hover on the bottom left icon it says "insert image". Click on it and you get a pair of square brackets containing this text: img /img. Ensure the image link is in the middle between the brackets. If you have the image link highlighted it will do that automatically. Click preview and you should see it.

It works with your link above, but I haven't saved it as the image is massive.

Sadly, it does not work for me.  When I hover over the "Attach Image(s)" box nothing happens.  I have, dragged and dropped an image into the box, it says it is attached, but when I press post, nothing appears. So thanks for your advice but for whatever reason it refuses to work for me.
