It seems this "discount" offer (publicity stunt) is quite popular in North East.

Personally I like it and think its a pretty good idea them doing it.

The main reason for me is it shows they care about providing a good service as on one face of it they can say its them trying to take constructive criticisms on board.

I am not naive enough to not know it is in most cases just a publicity trick them doing it but if its only a mediocre punt the first time you know you are literally going to get the shag of your lifetime that second punt and at a discount too.
