Author Topic: Best way to spend £150. . .(Buyer's Remorse Feelgood!)  (Read 1772 times)

Offline GingerBoy11

I took a call from my cousin last week with 'Buyer’s Remorse'. . .having spent circa £200 on a session with a SP.
I appreciate this is a common topic on the forum, so I wanted to pitch it in a different way.
I told him not to feel bad. I explained that everyone spends money on their 'hobbies' or 'pleasures’, and this happens to be his hobby. . .the caveat here is that he can't afford to spend £200 on any hobbies, based on his income, so this is a bigger problem for him; live within your means and all that, but anyway that’s not my point. . .
. . .my point is I’ve made the below list of what you can do with £150; and I would be interested to see how the guys in this forum would rate them from 1 to 11. 1 Being the 'best way' to spend £150; with 11 being the worst!

£150 List:
1. 1 Hour with a gorgeous young sexy SP; FS; Full Relief!
2. A 3 Course meal in a nice restaurant with a friend/GF
3. An evening at the Theatre/Concert/Comedy/Music with a friend/GF
4. A night out with the boys, lots of ale (and the rest)
5. 1 Designer T-Shirt
6. Gambling the money.
7. Paying your monthly Council Tax / Electric / Gas Bill!
8. Giving the money to charity
9. Taking a ‘girl’ on a date (from a dating app etc)
10. Gym/Personal Training Membership for the Month
11. Add the money to an ISA, for 10 years, for £30 Profit

Offline GingerBoy11

So, to kick things off my ‘best way to spend’ list would be:

1. Paying your monthly Council Tax / Electric / Gas Bill!
Priorities first!

2. Gym/Personal Training Membership for the Month
Health is wealth!

3. 1 Hour with a gorgeous young sexy SP; FS; Full Relief!
Living your ‘wildest dreams’ and ‘deepest desires’ whilst achieving the ‘satisfaction’ all men crave. . .sounds like a good deal to me, plus most of the other items on the list feed into these desires anyway. . .Buying fancy clothes (to attract a girl), making money (to attract a girl), Going out with the lads (to find a girl), being healthy (to be attractive to girls) . . .the list goes on. . .so for me (and I am sure most on this site will agree) you can just circumnavigate all the other shit and get to the crux of manhood! Also I argue getting an hour of an attractive girls time is worth its weight in gold

4. Taking a ‘girl’ on a date (from a dating app etc)
All about the risk/reward ratio. You can spend you cash and get nothing in return, you could have shit night, or be stood up. On the flip side you could fall madly in love and the world will shimmer with light (lol), but ultimately, you’re trying to get laid so why not just spend the money on bedding an SP (checking the reviews on UKP beforehand) and get your outcome upfront. . .

5. Gambling the money.
You could turn your £150 into £300. . .or you could turn it into £0. . .if you want 2 hours of anxiety (watching a football match) or 10-minute heart attack (watching a horse race) then this is your bag. But is it healthier than seeing and SP; no. Your more stressed, and you don’t get your desired outcome. Yes, if you win go get your SP for ‘free’. . .if you lose go home and have a cry wank! haha

6. An evening at the Theatre/Concert/Comedy/Music with a friend/GF
Very rarely value for money nowadays. . .up their as an experience, much in the same way as an SP, but could be very hit and miss. With the amount of entertainment available now at home maybe not as engaging as it used to be.

7. 1 Designer T-Shirt
Haha; at least your will look smart when you go to visit your SP, but its seldom a good idea to buy designer clothes; unless your out to impress someone of course, but I don’t think SP’s care, they see the labels and they think money!

8. A 3 Course meal in a nice restaurant with a friend/GF
Cook at home. This is always a waste of money!

9. A night out with the boys, lots of ale (and the rest)
Probably the stupidest way to waste £150, from a physical and mental health perspective. . .

10. Giving the money to charity
Probably what we should all spend £150 on. . .but somehow, I don’t think we will

11. Add the money to an ISA, for 10 years, for £30 Profit!
Which in 10 years will be swallowed by inflation anyway. . .plus you could die in those 10 years; so, this is actually the worst option.

So, in conclusion seeing an SP is the 3rd best thing you can do. . .and if you’ve paid your bills and got a nice gym routine, then its actually the smartest and best value way to spend your spare £150!
So everyone call feel better about the money they spend on SP's!

My ISA’s pay out yearly, not sure why you’re waiting ten years.

However as DM said not sure the relevance to punting.

Isn't it in the general chat off topic section not related to punting. Or have you moved it since from another section.
Just asking for my own benefit  :hi:

A case of port and some decent blue cheese

Offline Stevelondon

Don’t get it.
This is just about what lifestyle you can afford. If you can’t afford to punt. Don’t.
Otherwise your a prat and getting into debt isn’t going to make you he feel good even if you have had the best time of your life with a hottie for an hour.

£150…….. on an empty tank it wouldn’t fill it. Not my motor anyway.
But I know of a pretty good bottle of malt it would go on.

Likewise, if I paid £150 a month gym membership I would want my own personal trainer included and a massage from some young fit hottie after every training session  included in the price.

Its about Buyers Remorse, the guilty feeling most guys get after seeing a SP.
I thought it would be quite a common topic for guys?

I just decided to pitch and contextualise the topic in a different way to make members of UKP feel better about their investment. . .

Offline GingerBoy11

It's been moved to off topic.

Why?

I've just had a look at the 'on topic' thread and I dont see how this topic, being relevant to most guys is off topic when there are topics such as 'what music track reminds you of punting' and 'online pharmacies that allow instore pickup' being deemend as on?

. . .but yet many people do  :timeout:

Send it to me.

Haha. . .could start a new line of UKP Vouchers. . .

You don't get much for £150 these days, not even a decent pair of boots, so perhaps a shortwave radio and if there's any change a Swiss army penknife.

haha. . .ok a 1 year ISA return of £150 woule yield about £5 profit at best

Yes in essence its about lifestyle. . .but before anyone partakes in a hobby they should have their shit in order. . .and then after that it struck me that a lot of life hobbies or activities revolve around the opposite sex anyway, so we should cut to the chase and get what we want (punting). . .obviously us smart chaps are all on it. . .but the common perception is its a waste of money. . .so just pitching it in a different way. . .I might send my article to the Daily Mail

. . .just think Steve you couls have had 35 bottles of whisky instead od your punts

But as you say, if you can afford everything on the list then you are, in fact, a real RocknRolla

How do you know most guys feel guilty after seeing an escort, I don't? Even after a bad punt I just put it down to experience and remind myself to be more diligent next time. Plus listing ways how to spend £150 has nothing directly to do with punting.

You were given the opportunity to explain what it has to do with punting, you didn't, so it was moved to off topic where it belongs.

A word of advice, don't. I'm still debating what to do with the stupidest one I've seen for a long time that you've started and at the same time debating whether you're just a troll or not.
