Debbie Harry really needs to pack it in.

Looks a state and sounds awful.

I have been watching lots of it. The coverage is great. Highlights for me are:
- Slowdive. Finished their set just now. I saw them at Primevera years ago in passing and they sounded good and I intended to give them a listen when I got home but never got around to it. After their set today I will. Golden Hair is a beautiful song.
- Carly Rae Jepson - Not usually my thing but that set was pure fun and energy. The crowd were having a great time.
- Guns and Roses - Loved them when I was a kid. I turned down a ticket to see them at London Stadium in 2016 or 2017 as they had a bad rep for starting their gigs hours late but I think they've pulled their act together. It looked like a good set.
- Foo Fighters - I've seen them a few times and they pretty much do the same show every time but it's one hell of a show.

I missed The Big Moon set earlier which I wanted to see hopefully I can see it on iPlayer later.

I saw Arctic Monkeys got a bad review and I'm going to jump on that bandwagon and agree they were pretty terrible. The frontman thinks he is Nick Cave, they got some banging tunes but felt like they were playing in slow motion.

I haven't been to Glastonbury since the pandemic I will make sure I go next year if I can get tickets.

The Pretenders were great and and Chrissie is 71!!

Rick Astley singing The Smiths was different, but he did a good job.

Lightning Seeds seemed a bit low key, but were good.

Lewis Capaldi did a great job even though he struggled at the end. I hope he takes the time he needs to feel better. He has a great talent.

I know. What a sexy woman in her prime but age is unforgiving, Debbie needs to accept that the tide is no longer high!   :(

An image that suggests unimaginable horrors, hordes of trendy middle class youngsters being subjected to such debauchery, what has Glastonbury come to.   :D

Watched Guns n Roses one of my favourite bands but you could not hear a single word Axel Rose was singing,  he was completely drowned out by the rest of the band. Very poor

His performance was almost top drawer. But his head looked fucked up. Hope he can recover

Axels time is up. He needs to pack in live gigs. Voice has reached the end. Top top band but they should restore their reputation

Not at all, he’s still got it live. Saw him with AC/DC a few years back and then with GnR at Tottenham last summer and he was absolutely fine.

Not been convinced by the mix on the BBC at times this weekend. Lana Del Rey's vocal mix was terrible last night too.

Agree on Arctic Monkeys, they even sucked the life out of their bangers with that slow tempo bollocks.  Alex's hair is fabulous though

I think it was a problem on the TV but that live the vocals were great.  i agree TV coverage was shit but reviews saying live you could hear him fine.

Yeah, reading recent reports it look like they sounded fine live it was just the sound on the  TV broadcast.

This year's Glastonbury doesn't seem to be as good as previous years.

The BBC says that the sound was only poor on certain televisions such as UHD TVs. It was perfectly fine on my ageing Sony Bravia. External Link/Members Only

That’s pretty inexcusable for a national broadcaster which sent a mere 500 staff to cover the 3 days!!

Well they'll be serval sound mix's for TV, Radio, export and the Audince PA system. So there only so many microphones there and if you can get whats called a "clean feed" thats before anyone else has done something to it on their sound mixer then you can make a better job as noted there only the one mic for the main performer and thats usually split to serveal other mixes plus the mic location for most all the instruments in use may not be optium and some sound will spill over to other mics due to lack of the acoustic seperation you can get in  studio setting.

Overall good but some bits could have been better and as said it was dependant on who was doing it may not have been the BBC's  own staff these things are farmed ouit to differnt production companies quite often these days!

Next month the BBC Prim concerts will start and that is usually handled by and outside broadcast firm not the BBC thmeselves.

Anyway around a quater million peeps there having a bloody good time so result overall and that girl who was doing the sign language give  my right ball if she was escorting:))

One of my friends was at Glastonbury and she said it sounded like Axl's mic, when you're talking on the phone outside and the wind blows and comes through on your call.

If you saw her close up she looked a state in the 1970s

Have to disagree, they did a promotional gig, meet & greet, before they were known in UK at the Virgin megastore Marble Arch and she was certainly stunning then.

I was stage guard at a gig in the 1970s and her makeup was so thick you could have laid bricks with it

They reckon she was in her 40's when The group were at their peak back in the late 1980's she was always coy about revealing her true age. She was a looker back then, at least she's growing old gracefully not had plastic surgery on her face

Mate of mine whos just come back said that the sound was excclent on the PA systems there, but of you wandered off to the far right or left the treble dropped off a bit. He also said that did a lot of sound setup and test work each morning and took that very seriously.

Said otherwise had a great time there and is going next year! Took sometime to clear the site, seems the main road through Pilton village was shut most of the day traffic going out via smaller side roads!

And excclent bit of Vid the Red 'arrers flew over the site:))
