Red light district in Amsterdam

I've got a trip to Amsterdam coming up in a few months. I haven't punted abroad before. I will most likely be looking to pay a visit to the RLD at some point. I am curious how it differs compared to a standard escort punt in the UK, which is the only type of punt I've had. Are the ladies who operate in the RLD usually 7/10s at best? Anyone on UKP been there recently ?

First of all: lower your expectations immediately! Amsterdam RLD is not what it used to be. It is half the size is was five years ago and a quarter what it was 20 years ago.

The windows which are left are generally on one street and only 20% occupied in the day time and 70% at night.

The girls are generally attractive or very attractive and there is a certain thrill to just window shopping. In general the experience of actually getting the full service is extremely mechanical and disappointing if you’re used to punting in the Uk.

Suck n fuck is usually a minimum of 100. Only a few still offer it for 50. And that’s only in the day time and not on the Main Street.

Kissing is absolutely never available as is OwO.

Amsterdam is a nice place to visit but not a great punting destination. It’s still fun to explore the RLD but recommend just window shopping and then going to a Privehuis instead.

There are three RLDs in Amsterdam – the main one (de Wallen) – basically a tourist trap these days as Jaydefo has explained.  The other two, smaller, RLDs are used more by locals.  One is on the Singel (centred on Spuistraat and Oude Nieuwstraat) – better service probably, women tend to be older, milf -types; the third RLD is further south near Ruysdaelkade.

If you take the train to Den Haag,then that's way way better then Amstersam..
I went 2 years ago, there was a few pretty girls to choose feom, I paid 40 euros for a nice 30 min shag

Agree with all of the above.  Amsterdam is rubbish, Den Haag is better.

Totally agree.  The window girls are selling their looks - you are tempted in purely by what the girl looks like.  They know there is virtually nil chance of you ever returning, so have no incentive to offer the kind of service that would encourage you to do so, so it is pretty much a P&D experience at inflated prices.  Far better service and value available in the Privehuises.  However, even there, it is rare to get much of a GFE vibe.
