So continuing my tour of stoke I stumbled across Ylang Ylang Thai massage on viva street called them up for a booking and spoke to a lady with very good English, explained what I wanted booked a date and time happy days or so I thought.

The time came so text to confirm booking got a reply explaining where to park and address etc. place itself is on a main road with plenty of passers by, didn’t really bother me as I’m not from the area but may bother others.

Anyway we discussed over the phone that I may want extras and was told to discuss when I was at the shop, so off I trotted. Parked up wondered up the road a little and found the place. It was set back a little with railings around the front of the shop, now what i didn’t see at I drove past to park was the sign in the window …. CLOSED….!

So approached to door thinking I’m booked in maybe it’s just a mistake, nope not the case! I then called to let them know of my arrival and radio silence  :dash:

Dropped a message just incase they were busy with someone who perhaps overran on time, nope still radio silence!! Waited around for maybe 15 minutes sent a couple more messages off and guess what no reply!

Well that was that off I went back to my digs, got a reply the following day with apologies they closed the shop early, yeah no shit! I asked when they were next available and radio silence again! Don’t think I’ll be bothering with this place.

I tried this place probably about six months ago, the front door was locked so I knocked on the side door and a Thai lady answered, said that they were fully booked for the day and best to call and make an appointment. So I did a few days later, got the slot I wanted and simply asked if they used towels to drape clients, nothing more, just asked if they used towels. The lady had a hissy fit, called me a pervert and lots of other names, said her salon was not one of those places. I interjected and said I wasn't seeking sexual services....yes ok ...
I just preferred an undraped massage. She wasn't having it and continued ranting saying that she was canceling my appointment.
I just cleared down.
Saying that extra services can be discussed in the room means that there is a change of policy or maybe ownership.
Maybe I should call again.

They have the price for one hour as £100. So it's definitely more than a massage  :hi:

It's an expensive way to find out if they don't.

Hi, I was pretty upfront about what I was looking for no qualms about it. Was then told to talk at the shop about it. Had the place been opened I would have found out what was if anything on offer!
Might try again in the week it’s not far from where I’m staying, suppose I could give em another chance see if that apology I got is worth anything? :D

So been trying to get back in touch with this place but it appears my number may have been blocked! Every time I call up it rings once and then ends the call, might be time to call it a day
