If there are a bunch of men loitering around an address then surely that's the prossies fault? There is nothing more lace-curtain-twitchingly obvious than random men gormlessly standing around a quiet residential area clutching mobile phones and attracting attention.

So just wondering what you guys do, does anyone insist on an exact time before setting off - and if she's not ready on arrival you walk or do you chance it and wait outside or worst still let them give you the old runaround?

I insist on an exact time.  I have turned up a couple of times on time recently, sent texts to confirm whilst stood outside and either heard nothing or been told to 'wait, i'm not ready'.  I give them five mins and then I leave.  No second chances with me...

I get an exact time. If the girl is not ready, I walk around the block then come back. It is more obvious if you loiter, unless of course the incall is right next to a bus stop.

What I find more worrying about that story is that the girls/Sergei aren't even bothering to direct punters to the right door. Loitering is one thing, but punters knocking on the wrong door is something else. I wouldn't know what I would do if I rang the bell and a clueless pensioner opened the door.

This is a great example of how not to run a brothel.  How you as a punter should loiter exactly depends on the area.  Standing around on your mobile phone is just newspaper talk designed to titilate the prudes outraged by the newspaper story.  Standing around tapping away on a smart phone if the new pastime for 85% of Londoners!  The point is discretion.  If you go for a walk, say hello or smile to anyone walking their dog, act like you know where you're going, you're a tourist or anonymous fellow resident of the city. 

Even I've punted not far from Haringey - that part of london must be packed with WGs offering in calls.

Spot on. I take the "vibe" of the area for my cue on how to or how long to wait. I've walked to a newsagents or a coffee shop before to waste time before, but if the area is too "public" I'll fuck off if it's more than 5 minutes or so.

I will sit in my car and open my laptop and do my emails or read a book for just a little while, so I am occupied. The problem sometimes is how long to put in the meter.

Ask the clueless pensioner to confirm that OWO and CIM are included..
Half the time, you'll get better service than you would have from the WG you booked. The other half, it'll turn out that she is the WG you booked.

I once sat in a bus stop, but I had arrived early. Usually I will sit in my car or take a walk but most of the time I haven't been asked to wait.

Usually have to travel to a punt by car, so tend to arrive early and park up.  Last few punts have been near to NCP car parks so stroll around local shopping area after confirming my arrival. Relaxes me to know everything is in hand and soon I'll have the legs of a hottie wrapped around me!    I  avoid any aspect of loitering and go in on time.

Once punted with girl who moved from a flat at the back of busy shops to a flat above a converted semi-D in a cul di sac
silly cow the land lady was down stairs I punted there 2 in first week, then the land lady apparently let her self in
no one on job but eviedent what was going on   she was charging 30% more rent cashin hand the neighbours cotton on with us chaps waiting in cars
