Considering this sick bastard is only 24 years old now and will be 36 years old when he is released who is to say he won't offend again  I just hope he has a real tough time in prison and gets the shit beaten out of him but as a sex offender he will probably be kept away from the other prisoners.

I'm not completely sure from the report how long sentence was, the phrase "minimum non parole period of 12 years" sort of implies sentence may be longer?

you're assuming he has a religion. could be an atheist. Most young british born and bred people don't see themselves as a particular religion. Also they would not mention the race of anyone in this way as it is irrelevant.


I see lots of news articles where a criminal commits a crime and they don't mention the race or religion (BECAUSE IT IS NOT THE STORY). I think you are going on the grooming gangs when they mention a particular race or religion (BECAUSE THAT IS A PART OF THE STORY) Cant say more than that because religion, race and politics are not allowed.

I care more about the young child who was abused than I do about making my opinion heard. This says something about your character. Rather than make a point or starting or looking to start a debate on a different subject, you should've describe your hatred on this type of crime like an ordinal folk.

I’m afraid the legal system in this country and the sentences handed down to vile creatures like this……. Amaze me.
We seem to have a system where the criminal is treated better than those who are abused.
Sex offenders often repeat offend. It’s in their DNA and yet they seem to be able to do so because of our inability by courts to put them away for good.

I am not in favour of a death penalty. But I believe scumbags should be locked up so the rest of us can feel safe.
If it were my granddaughter……………. I would be finding a way of putting him out of his misery. Either inside or when he came out.

it sounds like they did nothing or he got lost in the system. not even soft sentencing.
its pointless going into the usual knee jerk reaction of why are they arresting someone for (insert clickbait non crime) when this is happening, but it does seem there is either no prioritisation or they dont give a fuck.
If someone is a proven (self admitted ) danger to society they shouldnt be released until they stood trial.

IMO our prisons are too "nice" - I used to have a job visiting youths who were on the edges of criminality (the "broken windows" theory) to try and steer them away from going on to commit more serious offences and for a lot of them being locked up in a warm cell with a TV, play station and 3 square meals a day cooked for you  was actually a positive compared to the shithole areas and homes they lived in on the outside. There is no detterant to crime.
