OP: why would you need to go through mail to book her again? Why not just via phone, now that you have her number?

Did exactly the same to me! Claimed some hook got loose in her brackets and she was in pain. She didn't bother to text afterwards.

I think that as she is retiring she decided to rip everyone off. With her pricing structure, half an hour gets her more money than longer bookings.

It was a very good half an hour before "feeling unwell", and I was lucky enough to see her a few times before so good memories will remain. But she clearly burned bridges here. Let this be a warning for the record in case she ever decides to come back.
