The way I'm reading it is the cars were head to head parked up on Soho road....the death occured at his place of residence in Ladywood which is a good 10 mins drive.
The paper states she got out of her pimps car on Soho road and agreed to being driven to his palace and on the way they did some cashing and shopping. It's likely that the pimps took the details down from the head to head on Soho road and/or she communicated the progress as she was going to his place.
According to the timings, I can only imagine that he must've been up all night and desperate for a fuck. Or there's more to this story. If he was absolutely desperate then it goes to show the sheer folly in abandoning the obvious management of risks involved with a working girl out on the streets. A terrible tragedy
Yes, you are correct, I had misremembered that part. It still reads really dubiously in terms of the accused's intent from the offset. 2 pimps/thugs acting as driver and co-driver in the early morning and then patiently waiting outside to pick her up? The eye witness reports of the woman trying to force her way back in and how a fatal blow was landed on an already incapacitated victim are damning to the defence's alibi.
Why they met on the Soho road instead of the escort ( if she was an escort even ) going directly to the victim's house seems odd but there are plausible reasons why this could have happened.
Stealing the car points to the mindset and thinking involved too.
