Absolutely agree with you. The Daily Mail continues with dog whistling articles to appeal to narrow-minded people still stuck in the 18th century.

I haven't seen the programme but here's a better review and analysis without the faux outrage and sensationalism

Education was never like that when I was at school,  you'd be lucky to have a half attractive female teacher  :dash:

And there was someone from medical records at a hospital I worked at too!

Finished binge-watching this, ahem, documentary series last night.

Kind of ambivalent about the whole thing; it was a bit of a tonally odd mix of sexual liberated hippies hamming it up for the camera, the headline-grabbing "grown adults expose themselves to KIDS!!!" section, and then really quite lengthy and downbeat body image sections. All arguably interesting and important topics but they felt weird served up together: here's what the clitoris is, now a bearded lady, now some amputees, and now naked dancers, whee, tune in next week! Err, what did I just watch?

Anna Richardson continues to be an only slightly less irritating Davina Mcall, but the true injustice is that the very lovely Yinka Bokinni never once nudes up (in the name of education and body positivity, of course). Bring back Naked Attraction!

It's about time anna got her kit off rather than getting a front row seat to dick and fanny.

in my opinion it is child abuse. you may as well allow kids in strip clubs. There is no need to strip naked in front of kids. No need at all.

Sometimes can be a real eye opener, as some guy ended up getting an erection  :D :D

The kids that took part, guessing they had given consent, and assume the same with the parents.  Now why dosnt the paper ask the kids what they thought, rather than making this more than it should be

Not saying you're wrong to hold your opinion but I have to say I completely disagree. There are plenty of contexts where as a child you could witness adult nudity; in your own home is the obvious example (Dad, wear a dressing gown, you're putting me off breakfast!), but also changing rooms and nudist beaches. That normalising aspect is one of the few things I thought the Naked Education series got right - you need to grow up seeing realistic human bodies. If a young teenager's first exposure to the adult body is through porn, what kind of expectation does that set them up for?

I would completely agree with you if the issue was exposing underaged kids to sexualised nudity, but I didn't feel the classroom segments ever strayed into that territory. One of the weirdest backswings toward 19th century morality we've been experiencing recently is the assumption that nudity equals sexualised or pornographic - see the case of the American schools censoring Michaelangelo's David (as predicted a decade earlier by The Simpsons!)

i'm not anti nudity but i feel that the way it was done makes it seedy. It looked like a strip club the way the adults all lined up and got naked.

Looking at some of the females on show they get  to choose from its no surprise they don't get an erection. I don't think I've ever seen a really attractive woman on it  :unknown: ( not that I watch it religiously )

Having split from Sue Perkins I'm sure I read she is now trying the male option?

I think she's with a bloke now. I agree, she needs to stop pontificating and get them off.

The show itself is clearly some producer thinking "How do we get the Naked Attraction audience to watch something else during peak hours? Make it educational!"
