One of those performers always enjoyed watching…obviously no idea what he was like in “reality”…but to me he always seemed to have an inclusive sense of humour.

Had to smile when I heard one of the reasons why he first started performing as Lily Savage…effectively he was scared to go on stage as himself, and saw the dress and blonde wig as “body armour”.

I may be eccentric….but think for me performing in drag lot more scary than going on in civvies.

Not everyone's cup of tea as a comedian but he had a great love for animals especially dogs and did a lot of work for Battersea dogs and cats home and did the tv series "for the love of dogs"

Not a bad idea. Maybe it could be called "ukpunting obituary page".
This page could celebrate the life of a individual who has recently pass away & to pay our respect to the individual who has passed away. 

Maybe this page could be set up when the next famous individual passes away.

Apparently Britain’s Got Talent was originally mean to be called a Paul O'Grady's got talent.  They had a successful test run but O'Grady then fell out with ITV.  Cowell then sold the format, it was launched successfully in US and the rest is history.

I used to listen on occasion. The banter between him and the show's producer was quite funny at times.

Sad, he was a clever and authentic entertainer, took no shit and gave no shit (except to those who deserved it). But not my kind of humour.

Nice story on BBC today when he was performing in a gay pub and the cops, wearing rubber gloves in case they caught AIDS, raided it Paul met them with "come to the washing up ?"
