When I look at my Adult Work hot list – which these days is better described as a lukewarm list (or indeed as a historical document) – I increasingly notice that hookers who a couple of years ago wouldn’t have dreamt of paying to “green-light” in order to show as available today now regularly do so.

Green-lighting used to be predominantly, although of course not exclusively, the preserve of Fanny Foreigner: Romanians, Brazilians and Thais.

With many fewer British girls advertising on Adult Work than was the case a decade ago – certainly in my area – you’d have thought that business would be booming, and green-lighting not needed.  But seemingly that’s not the case. 

This, I submit, reflects a general decline in mainstream escorting activity over recent years, with an increasing drift either to sugar babery or to “online-only”.  This has been discussed on other threads.

Either way, perhaps prostitution is gradually going the way of slubber doffing?

There are many girls who don't use it because they see it as the timewasters light, once on all the never gonna book always gonna look brigade get in touch

I think most SPs don't use the green light.

They prefer advance bookings from regulars and then they fill any gaps with people who contact them on the day. Very few SPs in my area use the green light and they are mostly tourers.

In my area there is what might be called a hard core (pun, yes I know) of maybe ten local girls who have been on AW longer than me .  My reg says the same as above that it can be a 'red light' to time wasters.  Lately a number of these girls have been showing the green light more often than before, I can only see they do it for no other reason than they are experiencing more quiet days than they used to, why else would they be using it. My reg also said they are very selective in replying to txt/calls as they can generally recognise  the wasters by the wording or mobile numbers. As already mentioned I too found using Available Today attracted enquirers who had not read my profile, and were totally unsuitable this was however ten years ago. Last used it just for the tell of it end of 2015, it did attract the attention of someone genuine and a booking was made, but I have not used it since. If I don't have an Escort booking I have plenty of other things to do, including working online, making content, cam, phone chat, partly participating in one of my other pursuits or using it as a day off,
