You don't have to pay a deposit, and can still provisionally book a place. But if the party is booked up, which was the case a lot at the end of last year, and I think in January, priority will go to deposit payers. The parties recently though, haven't been booked up completely as far as I am aware. And I think you can also pay by PayPal and things like monza and revolution which may afford more privacy.

I would say check with the organisers although the other reply is also helpful in that regard. I have a spends account with Chase as a day to day spends and round up for savings, it’s how I get away without using joint bank details 😉.
