Welcome, I sympathise, it’s never a good idea to use your real name as a forum ID.

I sent an email last week to the email address in the "site rules" section, but haven't had a reply. Can anyone nudge an admin to see if I can get a name change?

Did you give a good reason for wanting to change your name though I have to say by being a self confessed lurker you are not doing yourself any favours.

Yeah, I gave a fairly compelling reason to want to change my screen name and I don't feel I can contribute until it's changed.

If they had said "no" then I would continue to lurk without posting, but I didn't get any reply at all.

It takes seconds to change your name on AW though judging by you not taking the advice given on here it might be difficult for you.

It's easier to change an AW name.

Don't AW link the new name to the old name?    They defo do with phone numbers.
