Author Topic: WTF convo with Asian Selection and Star's hidden NBA policy (Funny story)  (Read 4414 times)

Offline EasyRider21

I was a bit on the fence whether I should post this story but, in the end, it has some information value to punters.
After a short break from punting I decided to meet with one of my (almost) regulars today but she cancelled on me last minute. Since I was freshly showered, manscaped, dressed and horny enough to pitch a massive tent for all the homeless people in London I quickly started looking for an alternative SP.

I tried Anna at Olina as I heard she is going home soon but she wasn't available. I remembered that I had earmarked Star at Asian Selection last year due to a positive review here praising her anal skills (read it here: https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=361875.msg3722642#msg3722642) so I sent a text to the agency. What followed was a rather ridiculous texting tsunami - happy to show screenshots if needed.

Star's profile: External Link/Members Only

At first, things seemed to go normal - I was told she isn't available and they offered me to meet other ladies. I declined as I wasn't interested and mentioned that I'll probably book Star another time at which point the following conversation occured (Note: I heavily edited it to make it more concise and easy to read)

AS: Can I be blunt and honest? You'd think such things were a thing of the past and we've all become better humans but Star isn't as friendly as you might hope. Does that make sense?
Me: Not sure what you mean. I'm not interested in meeting any other girl, sorry.
AS: Recently Star refused to open the door to a client, no matter how much I tried to plead with her. I am not trying to get you to see another girl. I'm trying to save you from a wasted trip and feeling upset. Can I be open? (You may get angry)
Me: Sure. (at this point I was really wondering where they were going with this...)
AS: Just don't hate me. Question - are you a black dude? Star will only open the door for clients who aren't black.
Me: I'm white.
AS: You are not black?
Me: No I'm not, this shouldn't be a problem for her. Where did you get the idea that I was black?

(I left out many lines of text where they repeatedly apologise for asking the racial question. Whoever was on the other side appeared rather uncomfortable and was therefore carefully tip-toeing around the subject)

As it turns out, they keep a list of phone numbers and make a note if you are black. As to how they filter out first time black clients with this method is a bit of a mystery to me... :dash:

I have only used this agency twice so far - once in 2020 to book Kaynita (long gone since, was a neutral/light positive) and another time last summer to book Sissy (neutral bordering a negative).

There can be two explanations why I was labelled as a black punter:

A) They mentioned to me in subsequent texts that they had a neglectful receptionist who was let go a while ago.
B) One of the two SPs I met told AS I'm black which I strongly doubt as I don't see why they would do that.

Anyway, few key takeaways that I think are worth pointing out:

1. Asian Selection (and probably other agencies too) keep a record of phone numbers and put a note next to black punters.
2. A few SPs probably have an NBA policy but the agency doesn't show this on their website. Instead agencies track black punters and probably tell them that she isn't working if they attempt to book her (this may explain why a few SPs can't be booked if you are a new client for the agency)
3. Asian Selection's records are messed up, probably doesn't hurt to disclose your race to them during the booking. As a black punter you may take the piss by telling the agency that you are white but ultimately the SP will refuse the booking once you arrive at her door...

The agency really should just disclose the SP's NBA policy on their website like some indie's do on AW. In the end it's not their fault if the SP refuses to see black clients...

I didn't want to express my views regarding NBA policies, there are numerous threads already on the subject.

so basically your records with them incorrectly labeled you as "black" and the receptionist, perhaps understandably, was embarrassed to come straight out and say "she doesn't see blacks"?

Maybe she felt uncomfortable with that part of her job - sometimes people react differently, some verbally aggressively so to a comment like that (and they are not always black - white "do-gooders"* are sometimes the worst!!)
(*for want of a better word)

not sure if it would be legal for the agency to formally state this on their website?

Offline EasyRider21

They never ask you to disclose your race. It looks like they ask the SP after your first booking with them and make a note afterwards.
The receptionist's attitude was fine, although a bit heavy-handed IMHO. They were beating around the bush a bit too much for my taste. If you have an embarrassing question to ask it's better to be over with it quickly.

I'm not sure about the legal background here but I think the law will/can not force consent from an SP which is why NBA policies should be lawful. The agency is technically just an intermediary between SP and punter and should therefore be allowed to disclose the terms under which the SP operates. If the agency can't legally do that then how come AW can?

In what other avenue of life would it be OK to carry out this kind of racial profiling? You see it on the SP's AW pages too - "sorry but due to a bad experience I no longer see black guys". Shockingly racist but we all seem to accept it as the norm. Perhaps we should all boycott any WG or agency found to be doing this.

Another avenue of life where it is acceptable is dating, funnily enough. Choosing a sexual partner is the ultimate act of discrimination. I think this kind of racism has to be accepted. There’s no end of discrimination in the other direction expressed on here, so, what’s good for the goose…

Can you put 'I won't see black guys' on your dating profile though ?

You can put 'I won't see white guys'.

Try to imagine a campaign where we demand women sleep with whoever we think they should sleep with

When you see an SP you are buying consent

This isn’t running a Car Wash or a Kebab Shop.

If an SP says she won’t see men over 65 is that being ageist ?

What if she decides she doesn’t want to see morbidly obese men?

You can advertise a job as being for BAME only, The Voice newspaper did that for decades, don’t know if they still do.

This isn’t dating, this is a paid for interaction where you are effectively buying consent.

Though to be honest I am not 100% sure if what the OP has said actually happened

On aw you can exclude Ron's etc from searches. Does that make you racist?

What then, insisting they see members of the same sex? Ridiculous, they are free to see whoever they choose and free to refuse whoever they choose.

Imagine if prostitution was an above board, regulated industry? An SP would not be legally permitted to discriminate based on any protected characteristics like age or race. I suppose you could have it so that when you applied for your badge/license you could specify which customers you would take. Imagine all of the compliance lol.

You can advertise a job as being for BAME only,

only if you can reasonably justify it  - for example, as part of a positive discrimination campaign to improve diversity in the workplace. (that always gets me - to help right the wrongs of yesteryear, you do the same thing  now - discriminate on colour, nationality etc)

But this is very different!

Seeing a prossie to pound her isn't the same as seeing your GP for a health check.

I don't mind the prossies to advertise their preferences regarding their clients.

???? What????

What you mind or don’t mind is totally irrelevant when it comes to the law! It’s what is legal and what is not legal!!!

Not getting into this issue further.

But jobs have been advertised like that in The Voice for nearly 30 years

Nothing to do with the current fascination for “diversity”

indeed it's probably illegal thanks to the Equality Act 2010.

But i understand why prossies have their preferences.

Id be interested to see what a court would say if a black client was startinga lawsuit against a prossie for her NBA policy...

'The Voice' asking for a black person to audition for the part of a black person is hardly racist, and choosing not to see anyone over 65 is yeah probably a bit ageist, but saying I won't see ANY black man on the face of the earth regardless of age/weight/wealth/star sign/dick size etc is 100% racial profiling. The WG's who justify it by saying 'I had a bad experience' have surely had a bad experience or two with a white dude as well? You can't surely put that bad experience down to race !?

It's pure racism but racism is sadly a part of life and that includes with escorts. NBA policies also racial profile white clients in a negative light too. Sometimes it means a escort feels black dudes are going to make her work for the money while a white guy may be easier to get money from. For example, he may cum quick, leave the session early, not be firm in his demands. These are all ignorant stereotypes but remember a escort recently said to user Versace that "he acts like a black customer" so that shows that escorts racial profile white guys as easier to manipulate.

Racism against black men negatively affects white men??? Is Hillary Clinton one of your idols by any chance?

Quote
"The law’s crystal clear. There's no legitimate business reason that justifies discrimination based on race or sex. Mr. Cuban is conflating the idea that someone's race and sex can be part of the complete package," Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) official Andrea Lucas told FOX Business’ Lydia Hu who also noted that one employment lawyer "would not be surprised" if a lawsuit against the billionaire was filed today.

"But that's not provided for under the law," she continued. "And if he's using it as a factor, even if it's not the only factor or the dispositive factor, if it's any part of the decision, then it's a motivating factor, and that's illegal."

Lucas’ comments come just one day after her reply to Cuban went viral on X. Cuban said he had "never hired anyone based exclusively on race, gender, or religion," before qualifying that "race and gender" can sometimes be factored in if it meant putting his business "in the best position to succeed."
