Commiserations Password regarding your dire session and having the courage to report and share your experience with
others on this forum.
I just wanted to share with you and others an encounter I had with a well reviewed lady on AW who has clearly built up
a sizeable client base and possibly a fan club on forums such as UKP.
My encounter happened during August 2013, a full year prior to me joining UKP. I met the lady at the very same hotel in Canary
Wharf where I met Indian Nahdia earlier his week. The session I had last year was distinctly underwhelming, she performed
what was on her service profile list, but was IMHO totally under-par for a 90minute session costing £200.
After the session I realised what a waste of time and money that was, and couldn't believe how this WG had built up a large
number of positive ratings and profusely enthusiastic feedback reports.
To my utter surprise, she left me POSITIVE FEEDBACK on my service seeker profile BEFORE me leaving any feedback on her.
I didn't want to come across as a complete c**t, so duly provided a positive return in kind, even though the session was at best mediocre. After that I did feel bad about leaving this WG the positive feedback, and was actually thinking "just don't leave any feedback, she won't for me as clearly she was unenthusiastic with meeting me". It's the only time I've done this as other feedback I've left I've genuinely had good or excellent sessions.
Now when it comes to leaving negative feedback especially for an " established top service provider", and this is applicable to me
in the above case, there's a genuine fear of being cyber-bullied and intimidated by such a WG's fan base clientele for uttering to
state the reality, had I reported on what actually happened on a forum like UKP during August 2013, assuming I was a member
of UKP then.
Whilst my experience wasn't as bad as your session, and the comparison not exactly a mirror image, I can see from the perspective
of a reticent punter/client not wishing to divulge a negative experience on a forum like UKP, for fear of retribution and malicious
cyber-bullying, being totally embarrassed about being cheated out of funds by a deceptive WG, feelings of hurt pride and loss
of "street-credibility" built up via posting on sites such as UKP, or in my situation with AW, to leave negative feedback there
which will then be rebutted by the WG and I'm made out (falsely) to be some kind of neanderthal monster.
As a consequence some punters/clients simply don't bother writing up any reports (positive/negative/neutral) as the potential
flak they may get from others is simply not worth the hassle, and thus stay off any forums.
