Off to Tirana in a couple of weeks there for a week.

Any punting reccomendations? Also anyone been? The people I know who have been say country pretty safe and nice. Media here makes me think otherwise.

I've not been to Tirana but stayed down south in Saranda for a few days. Lovely country but punting options non existent from what I remember.   :(

I was there for a week for work and found the options dire.  After a bit of googling there were many websites with Russian SPs that seemed bloody expensive for the area and in general if they know you are a foreigner prices will quadruple. 250 euros per hour is London prices not Tirana.

At my hotel in central Tirana I was really near two strip clubs but was warned off them by a local who said there was nothing on offer beyond the usual strip club scams.  I did find out from someone else that take-out was sometimes available for like 4-500 euros which was once again 4-5 times what I would expect to pay for what was on offer. Most of the strip clubs have insta accounts that dont show faces but show whats on offer, and there wasnt much impressive there at all.

on ISG there are claims that you can follow massuese profiles on insta that will provide outcall services, i added the ones they mentioned and just a bunch more but none replied to any form of contact.

Tirana seems to suffer from the fact that very many of the people there regularly work in Germany or UK or have close relatives who do.  The hotel receptionist was telling me how her brother had recently been deported from UK and was planning to head back there under a lorry soon - no joke.  For this reason I think what few options are available, well they kind of expect London/Germany prices because they have encountered that level of wealth, despite the fact their wages there are tiny by comparison.

Tirana Seeking options were laughably bad. It's funny how every country has a different approach to Seeking, and deffo in Albania Seeking is seen as purely a dating site for meeting rich men.  Not for. 'seeking arrangement' as the name suggests.  Very poor prospects on offer, and absolutely all of them offended and block you the very milisecond you step beyond typical tinder-banter into trying to arrange anything. I found this most annoying.

Tinder Bumble and Mambo were super slim pickings.  Very few profiles have face pics because of the culture there, and you'll have to swipe through dozens to match anyone who doesnt demand a 2 month long back-and-forth to 'get to know you' before sending a face pic or insta link.  I did finally hook up with one young lady who accompanied me on my stay there, but even after scrutanising her insta I was very disappointed with her in person.  Like many Albanian women she was quite 'dumpy' looking and not very pretty facially without the caked on make up in full force.  Luckily I got her for the week very cheap and she was pleasant person to hang out with, but I wouldn't see her again.

I appreciate all the above is a roundabout way of saying "Nah Tirana is shit, don't bother" but thought I'd flesh out the reasons as to why for your better information.

I felt very safe there, and all my ressearch showed that.  I felt 100% fine walking the streets of Tirana at night, even in back alleys.

There are loads, and I mean loads, of fucking expensive cars all over the place.  I was told they are 'bought' (cough stolen cough cough) from Germany by Albanians who went to work there for a year or two and sent money or stuff back.

In the centre of Tirana at night it is much like any big city, touristy stuff in the day and nightclubs and resteraunts at night.

The only thing I would suggest as advice really is that Tirana has lots of what I would call 'little city big ideas' arrogance in some people.  From a tourist stand that thinks you are just a sex tourist because you are a foreigner in Tirana, to the resteraunts that genuinely ask 'do you have a reservation?" when the place is empty just to sound like they are a big deal when they are not.  It's hard to describe and apart from walking away from some interations thinking "what a stuck up cunt", really nothing to worry about.  The majority of Albanians are friendly and welcoming, with the odd one or two in client facing roles who have taken the "Putin school of etiquette" course on customer interaction.

Whilst I would be happy to go back for a work trip, due to the above and also lack of punting options, wouldnt bother visiting just for myself.

(the coughing emphasis above was from the person telling me, not my emphasis. They are pretty casual there about how many Albanians go to join gangs in Germany and UK.)

Having been there for work last year I would agree with all of the above. It's an OK place but not one for punting IMHO....

Great summary CockMonster, I'm looking to go there soon and it gives me a really good idea what to expect.

Would appreciate a bit of advice, wondering if you would be able to PM me to discuss?

From what I can gather most Albanian sex workers are working in other countries on Romanian or Italian ID cards.
There's a strange dichotomy in that Albanian women for many years were identified as the largest national group of sex trafficking victims in the UK, but on AW and VS they were virtually absent - because they were listed as Romanian.
Many of these girls were working for, or were financed by, Russian criminal gangs who used Albanians as the frontmen and muscle. With Russians unable to get into Western Europe this year, the gangs are delegating more and more responsibility and control to the Albanians - that's why so many are crossing the channel.
Albanians are now behind much of the drug problems in this country - even many of the Vietnamese cannabis farms are theirs. Indications are that the leading impetus behind this years influx of Brazilian, Columbian and other Latin-American girls is also the Albanian gangs, simply plugging them into pre-existing trafficking networks

I was in Albania last summer and tried to get some action but could not at all.

It's strange, because the young women are ridiculously attractive, they show off their bodies, it isn't an expensive country. Put it all together and there should be some level of sex industry, like Greece.

But I tried and tried and couldn't find anything.

The problem in Albania is that prostitution is not legal and very much condemned by public opinion. Since it is a tiny country words gets around that why its a bit hard to find the women. There are no street walkers anywhere.

The easiest place to find girls is through taxi drivers who work at night. Don't be shy about asking but don't expect much on the quality side. The hookers will run from 50-100€ for basic sex. Depending on how good looking you are you may get OWO and CIM, but there usually extra.

The next best place would be hotels and motels, just go and ask the desk clerk as in most eastern and southern european countries

and there are online offerings, no idea how good

I’ve been in Albania about 2 weeks now and the pickings are slim. You can find girls on the streets in Tirana but they aren’t exactly of the standard most are looking for. The prices here are crazy high for the girls you can find through these other sites - stubbornness has meant I haven’t bothered though May change tonight. I’ll update you if I do see someone.
