Visited here last week after reading several good reviews on here. My experience was not so good. Booked in advance by text and got a prompt reply. When I turned up on time I got the distinct impression I was not expected however. I was shown into a massage room and my heart sank a bit - it was freezing. Ok, I thought, it'll warm up. I paid the £40 and was left to undress. I felt the heater - a tiny trickle of heat coming out on a cool, crisp November day. Masseuse came back - I don't know her name I'm afraid. She started with the legs and her hands were freezing too. I don't regard this as acceptable, the temperature was not appropriate for someone lying inactive, naked and coated with oil for an hour. After about twenty minutes or so my extremities were like blocks of ice. The massage itself was competent while being nothing special. It was softer than I like but my request to put some pressure on my lower back either didn't make it past the language barrier or was forgotten. No hint of anything else on offer which was fine by me, I really wasn't in the mood by now. Asked to turn over and the usual massaging round the pelvic area trying to get some interest going but I wasn't having it and just thought about work to kill any stirrings off, not that that was difficult considering it was like Antarctica. So, £20 saved from my point of view or was it £40 wasted? Masseuse did not appear to appreciate this and just basically walked out on me. Fine by me, I won't be back. This could have been perfectly decent, if nothing outstanding, if only the room was heated appropriately, maybe you'll have better luck.
