Meet never happened!
So I was up in Newcastle with work early this and had asked advice on parking in the city centre and so on, thanks for the advice. Anyway due to factors out of my control by the time I'd got sorted I couldn't get a meet but I did use the time as a recky for any future ventures up to the toon.

As it happened the next day (Thursday) gave me the opportunity and I had the idea of a B2B at 99 Thai running through my brain. So I called Angela, or whoever  was on the phone said they were free at 11:30. This was at 9:45 so I set off from Middlesbrough I was going to be late by 10 mins so I text to let her know. No reply but I was very close to the city center by now so i carried on. Just hoping I would still get un but 30 calls several texts and 3 doorbell rings later I was stood in Stowell Street calling her all the names under the sun I tried a couple of other places close by but I didn't have time to wait about.

Long story short she didn't honour my booking and I travelled 50 mins both ways to see her and she either double booked me or just didn't care less and took a walk in appointment. So if you were on the table at 99 Thai on Thursday at 11:30 that was my booking  :sarcastic

OP, you were late for your appointment.
That sounds like your problem, not hers.
She's probably on a tight schedule which she doesn't want ruined by latecomers

Read the post above your's, she known for it, you trying to blame the OP is totally out of order.   

She could have knocked 10 mins off his booking time and she would still be on time for the rest of the day.

I was just looking for your review of her but couldn't find it.

I won't be reviewing her as I've never met her. However that doesn't prevent  comments based on general principles surely?

We can only guess what happened, but if she was faced with the choice of a late runner / possible no-show, or a walk-in requesting immediate service, then she'd probably take the immediately available money. Once the appointment time has passed she has no guarantee as to whether the booked punter will show or not.

I disagree, if you can't get to an appointment on time it is you that bear the consequences imo
She could have let you know, but it was brought on by you being late in the first place 
As for her history of doing this, well we all run the risk if we don't check this.

No there has to be a bit of give and take I would have been happy to have had the 10 minutes taken off the booking but to not reply to my text that was sent before my booking was meant to start suggests to me that she already was busy with someone else.

I have to agree with you, if you let her know ahead of time you were going to be 10 mins late then she has no excuse for not replying. Any radio silence from an SP is out of order. A quick message back to say she was cancelling was all that was needed.

I find it odd punters blaming a punter for radio silence from an SP.

I said in my post she should have replied, but it's still our responsibility to get to an appointment on time. If the checks had been done prior he would have known that this was a possibility.

If it had of been me and after I let her know I was going to be late she cancelled then fair enough, my fault and no review. But as she went radio silent then it's a negative all day long.

I honestly can't understand anyone questioning a negative review for radio silence from an SP.

It's a forum for all to state there opinions, I stand by mine. The op shares some of the blame for being late and not doing his homework. Just to add I am in no way condoning her behaviour, never seen her and never will.
