What is it with Vivastreet recently? Alwasys more hit and miss than Gumtree (lots of B&S) but at least it had a separate section for FS/escorts.

Now when you search massages (certainly in Manchester and Liverpool) the vast majority are: "hit me for hook up" or similar repetative generic hook, with multiple identical "sexy" photos that you just know bear no relation to the SP. And same picture but differencet postcodes. The genuine massage places get lost in all this shit.

I very rarely use VS to search for massage places, I only use Gumtree, although I find if they do advertise on VS its usually guaranteed HE place.

I use AW for FS, the only time I will risk a VS ad is usually for a new Thai that has popped up in the area.

Generally all other VS ads are fake, roms or wags with feedback to hide that won't advertise on Aw.

VS is good for the small intro videos which gives you a much better feel for how they look in real life and not some shopped photos.

those fake adverts on Vivastreet massage are deposit scams.
It's a spam campaign been running for around 8 weeks on a national basis
VS were deleting them on a daily basis but seem to have been overwhelmed this week

this is something on a much bigger scale than the usual VS escort fakes

between them they have ~200 linked adverts, and these are just a small fraction of the total
VS have a real problem

Gumtree have banned a lot of massage advertisers this last 12 months and now they recently increased their ad. fees from £16.99 to £35.99.

Its gone absolutely mad on there this week a search of Blackburn brings up over 85 profiles twice what it did last week

Why anybody would think most of these profiles are genuine is beyond me but at least there are a few that clearly are and stand out as not being a part of some Romanian scam.

Lots scams ADs in VS, same photo used for a number of massage service in Leeds Bath and Brighton.

Donot pay any deposit.

If AD is for a massage shop, no scam and risks I think.

There's been a glut of new ads in the North East too, all added on 29th or 39th October. Very similar wording on each, but different photos of gorgeous ladies.

( I was amused, however, by the not-so-subtle use of emojis with the 🍆 and the splashing emoji 💦)

Same in East Anglia, noticed about 2 weeks ago. Deposit scams was my thought too.

Maybe because the VS massage section has been barely used, it's ripe for these scammers who may reach people who don't look in the usual places and so won't be as aware of the pitfalls? Could also get the Onlyfans/sugar daddy seekers who are more used to making online payments for services or content.

I don't think it's a Romanian scam
Word on the grapevine is that it's more likely to be a call centre (or centres) in Vietnam / Cambodia using trafficked forced labour (from China and elsewhere) to answer the calls. One of the reasons they switch the call to WhatsApp.
Each call-taker has set performance targets to hit, with beatings and punishments for failure to achieve.
The staff tend to be recent graduates tricked into emigrating to work in what they think is a legit job

FWIW the "Dating" and ""Relationship" sections of VS have had these problems for years

I noticed today that the North West Massage section has been cleared out of a lot of these repeat profile ads it's back down or was to 7 pages

To advertise massage and Fs profiles

Do you find the verification on VS a good point or not so much

Trying to show I'm real and not a fake is really hard on vs

most punters don't even know that VS verification exists, so they'd never use it

FWIW one of the girls on another forum said the details required by VS to verify were far too intrusive

Locanto is free advertising doesn't cost anything for anyone

I'm on alot of other advertising platforms that have automatically verified me without ID
Because I have twitter and Instagram and other advertising with the same pictures

Others require ID

I don't want my ID on my advertising stating I'm a whore

However I can use Paysafecard voucher codes to pay for my advertising on VS which makes it easier for me

Unless a girl works the best of 7 days a week VS definitely costs more than AW because without using a boost its a complete waste of time and money
