Meet: Comms was ok, she called me several times, but I didn't answer. Met outside the Marriot hotel, the apartment was 1 minute away. But the girl is completely different person, 100% not Japanese, probably Thai, maybe Chinese, couldn't tell. I don't know where the 15 reviews on the AW from. During the text, I specifically said if its not Japnese I will walk away, don't waste everyone's time.

I guess she is just using the mindset oh I'm here anyway, but I walked.

I had to travel an hour from south for this. But they really put an effort for fake the AW reviews.

That is the clue to it being fake, was in E14 and for that reason dismissed it.

So deflated to learn this one is yet another fake. I did think finally I could put a Japanese girl in my hotlist with at least a slim chance of seeing her. But instead, I learn it is yet another scam.

It all sounded so authentic with a Japanese student getting a scholarship to study dance in the UK.

I fear my Japanese bucket list will remain unfulfilled for many years yet.

To tell a true Japanese from the fake, put two palms together and bow, if they reciprocate Thai. Or say konichiwa and assess what they say in response.
