Yes , I went but nothing to report. There's another thread which hints at massage with extras at one of the hotels but it could've been someone from an outside establishment rathee than the hotels in house spa. I was back in CV (but Boa Vista instead) this year and thwre was nothing on offer at the hotel spa there

Yes that was me a year or so ago. Appeared to be a freelancer who'd found her way into the extensive hotel grounds and not part of the hotel spa staff ,( in fact I'm not even sure the hotel HAD a spa)

Bit of an update, probably makes more sense than starting a new thread.

There's a side road off the main road (1 de Junho) just before Pub Calema where you get lots of girls that offer massage up til about 3pm. Pretty much the definition of YMMV in terms of girls and what they offer. I had a couple fo BJ/CIM from an absolutely stunning girl for around E60 then saw a girl who did absolutely nothing. Don't assume what they do, confirm services first and then assume they will find a way to chisel an extra E20 in the room which you'll pay to avoid a scene.

In the evening there is Buddy Bar. Took me a while to work it out, you have to go inside on the left there's the stairs up and on the top floor it's basically a brothel. They have rooms with beds there and girls are E100-150/hour but none of them were attractive enough I even wanted to go past the price discussion. Not the best looking girls, super sketchy place and prices higher than the UK - no thanks. Seems worse considering that is the average monthly salary on CV.

Thanks for the info, at night outside the pub camela there was definately a few women of the night outside listening to the live music.
Is it above that pub which was the buddy bar? As I did see them go in the left door upstairs... I presumed it might of been a strip bar
 I didn't really attempt to explore it.

I also found civvie women in towns outside of the main tourist spot were very very friendly, but the language barrier made things impossible.

I just didn't get the vibes it was a punting destination for tourists so didn't pursue anything, possibly like you was getting at.

Buddy bar is just a pub about 50 yards down from Pub Caleba.

There was probably more scope for something with the massage girls after they finished work (bout 3pm) but by the time I got the lie of the land I was running out of days. I think the island is quite religious and most the working girls are from overseas so I'm not sure how far you would get with the locals.

The lack of interest in negotiating for the pub girls made me think there isn't much chance to get better deals.
