Anyone else have psoriasis ? Any decent remedies docs prescribed me enstillar foam seems to be doing the job.

As you no as soon as you stop the steriod creams it comes back.

If what you have been prescribed works then good. I don't have that particular condition, but would advise to always see a dermatologist instead of a GP. I had a skin condition from my teenage years and was prescribed all kinds of creams by my GP over the years. When I eventually seen a dermatologist many years later I was prescribed a completely different medication and the condition cleared up and never came back with the same severity. I don't know if this is the same with Psoriasis but I would never trust my GP and would look for an expert opinion instead.

I had mild psoriasis  for years (not eczema), triggered by drinking milk.
Almost totally cleared following emergency appendix removal eight or so years  ago.
Gut bugs are funny things

I have had it for years and it developed into Psoriatic Arthritis not good it can be very debilitating. I was lucky a young trainee doc diagnosed me quick, got a great rheumy consultant and to date after twenty years + I am still fairly ok.

Have been using  TFN self injected drugs most of the time alongside metheratrixate ( not nice tablet or injection made me sick) sulphasalazine and steriods. I taken Tofacitinib tablets for around five years  and it keeps the arthritis at bay and the skin is mainly ok these days.

If you have it or suspect you have get treatment ASAP, I know someone who didn't and he is in a wheelchair now. I have learned to live with it, I don't give in too it and I am planning a long held walking challenge, the Wolds way

Yeah i have seen a dermatologist years ago but psoriasis seems to always come back when you stop sterioids.

Psoriais come mainly from the gut health i believe and the sun normally does sort me out but in the UK its hard as majority of the time its cold.

Psoriasis can be caused by stress. Mine cleared up after I got divorced.

Most women I saw whilst having psoriasis were not concerned about it. Some, who suffered from it themselves even gave tips on how to control it.

The thing to remember is psoriasis is not curable. So best to see the right doctor for the best diagnosis and treatments.
