She said in a very angry tone in Portugese (into her Google translate) that I have 5 mins for the money to come into her account otherwise I have to leave. I told her I promise the money has left my account and you will get it (on Google translate). She said "oh" and showed the translation to Lola and then said "you have to leave" (which was within 1 min of the 5 min deadline). So I said OK, i was annoyed but still calm cos i thought theres nothing much i can do, and as I was walking out I was saying "but I am £150 down you know, which is money you will get" and Karen said something like "fuck you" in Portuguese as I was walking out the door which really pissed me off because up until then they were getting annoyed but had not sworn at me in English yet, and I hadn't been aggressive at all.
So I walked out the apartment and text the number saying "I've just got scammed for £150, well done". I got a text back saying if I had any proof or screenshot. I went onto my banking website and managed to get a screenshot of the transaction. Over the next couple hours after back and forth texts it was agreed that I could go back to the flat and get money in cash off Raina. The operator also said that I would get the money back into my bank account as well in a couple weeks, as the problem was with the banking service they were using. A couple hours later I got the cash back off Raina, she did seem a little apologetic when she said "ciao" as I left after getting cash off her.
Now I wasn't going to leave a negative review but more stuff has happened since. The agency person said if I wanted to book them again I could bring cash. I initially said I wouldn't as I had been put off by their attitude but the agency person defended them saying they have been scammed before, and thought I was scamming them, and they were only protecting themselves. I said OK yeah and they're young, understandable, maybe I should try booking Raina again but not Karen/Lola cos she had sworn at me and got aggressive even though it had nothing to do with her really as I hadn't booked her.
So a couple days later I book Raina again and go down to Leeds. As I get there I get a text (operator pretending to be Raina again, which they always have apart from when i text compalaining about being scammed), "sorry baby my customer has extended, you can see my gorgeous friend Lola instead". I said nah no way, she swore at me the other day. I said this is very unprofessional and that there's no reason to extend when another customer is on the way. I just got a "sorry" in response and the rest of my texts were ignored.
Then next day stupidly (and I deserve stick for this) I text again booking Raina and saying make sure its Raina and don't switch to Lola last second. I got a text back saying it would 100% be Raina this time. I then realised I'd be free earlier so tried to book for earlier. The time Raina was available meant I would have an extra half an hour or so free beforehand, so I thought hmm maybe I should actually give Lola another go as well, maybe she'll be OK and realise that they were in the wrong. So I managed to book Lola 30 min first, then Raina and Lola 30 min, then Raina herself.
