Brussels Rue d’Aerschot RLD update

I was back in Brussels for a few days in August; used to be there quite often but this was first time since the pandemic. 

It was not specifically a punting trip but I did check out the RLD area to see how it was faring.

As is well known, the main Brussels RLD, Rue d’Aerschot, is in a grotty area next to Gare du Nord.  It was always a bit of a dive and has probably got worse over the years. 

There seemed to be more empty windows than in the past, but could have been the time of year.

Prices for 15 mins or so of P&D were unchanged at 40 euros for bj and sex in one position, or 50 for bj + sex in several positions.  I sampled a few girls, mostly in the early morning or night time, avoiding the daytime heat. 

Day 1. Eva at No 144, day shift.

Been to Rue d'Aerschot so many times when I was young and recently been there again. It did indeed look miserable. There were few attractive girls but it looks so dodgy even in day time that it is better to avoid. At least there's some police patrolling the area but otherwise too many dodgy looking group of men. Belgian club and gang bang scene seems to be amazing and there is really no point (at least for me) to visit RLD. Antwerp was better but there used to me much more attractive Belgian and Dutch girl in the past while now it's probably mostly Romanians there too...

I went last year, but chose to give Rue d'A a miss and got a train to Antwerp - think it was a 30 minute journey (maybe 50) and 10 minute walk to a much better / safer RLD ..... Rue d'A was always a bit dodgy, so maybe it's my age and scaremongering, so maybe not as bad as it sounds .... I do slightly regret that I didn't at least go and have a look ....

I went in November last year. The area hasn't improved at all, unsurprisingly. Google Streetview will show you what to expect. It's an absolute shithole. Went in the daytime. Lots of dodgy-looking people hanging around, but I didn't have any trouble & kind of felt safe enough in the short time I was there.

There were several really attractive women in the windows. I paid 40 euros for 15 mins for covered oral & sex in one position (and made sure this was clearly agreed before I went in). It was 10 euros extra to change position. She was Romanian, spoke good English & almost unbelievably gave a really good service. I had very low expectations so it was a pleasant surprise.

Haven't tried Antwerp yet so can't give a comparison.

When you are next over this way it is worth trying the Prive Huis scene - which equates more to a UK brothel.  The better ones tend to be across the border in NL, but there are some good options in Flanders.

Antwerp, like Gent, is all about the time of day -but  there are still some very pleasant surprises among the usually predictable EE types.  The market is fluid which is why therefore impossible to recommend.  It is obviously a psychological thing, in so many ways, that a twenty minutes 'suck and fuck' in a window can be much more memorable than a hundreds plus Euro escort??  When I lived in London, some time ago, I found that Soho walks ups had some real gems - and English girls on some occasions like the ever so sweet Daisy in Firth Street.  I also visited  a place called the Bunny Lounge - as good as anything here, at the time.
