If you're thinking of going to Qatar for the world cup be careful.
The contract to police the event has just been given to the Pakistani army............

Why they using the (derogatory / racist term removed) army? The Pakistan prime minister has been visiting there to have a few chats....thought they would have own security with the money Available.

Middle East Oil rich countries have a history of using Pakistani/Filipino cheap labour. In fact they pretty much built the stadia that will be used. It was quite a big story at the time so probably no surprise they have used them again for the security

Apologies I’m not sure if people still see that as offensive in this pC world.

To me that shows what type of person you are if you don't think that term is offensive and that has nothing to do with any PC world.

Did you see the documentary on the working and living conditions of said labour?  I know they are looking for the worst, but there was obviously a lack of heath and safety and exploitation going on.
Banned reason: Undesirable, previously banned, still attacking members, discussing UKP with SP, toxic personality, it’s a no from me!,

Whether it's policed by Pakistani or Qatar police / army personnel i'd expect them to take a "No nonsense" approach which will probably still be softer than if the whole world wasn't watching.

In any case I assume it will be a "Dry" tournament which should drastically reduce the chances of any trouble  :unknown:

Shame Scotland "didnay" qualify as i'd love to have seen Danny Bhoy's predictions come true  :D

Bangladesh has a football team? They might want to bring their own security.
