In the last two days  I've had three unsolicited  texts  from the staff at the Asian Spa (or Earth Spa) in Middlesborough.

One was announcing "new" girls this week  ( I recognised all 3 names  so they're not 'new' , and two of them I avoid - ones a BBer and the other is cash greedy)

Then I got two more, with the same wording (apart from the name) "hi, it's Xxx, I'm here for the next two weeks, please come  and see me" (all 3 came from the same number ( its the "shop" number) so easy to block.

They must not clear the call logs   and send these texts when things are quiet. Not a major issue for me,  no-one sees my phone but could be awkward for some.

:drinks:  Easy cure bud.  Punting phone.  Or as the younger age group calls it.  A burner phone. I've had one for years. Keep it in the car.  Only get tuned on when I'm punting.   :scare:

yup.

SPs can text my punter phone all day and it matters not a jot to me.

But it does emphasise the importance of having a punter phone

Sorry, didn't mention it was to the punting phone. It was the "unsolicited " bit that irritated me.

Get the text me app, subscribe to a virtual phone number, then remove the app when you dont need to use it. Reinstall when you need it and your subscription is still active with same number. That way you dont need a separate phone

Unsolicited texts … I’ve never visited the place and text them some time ago and yes, I received a similar text this week. It took a few minutes to realise which SP this was from.

Catweazle, regards “BBer and cash hungry”, are you ok to PM me their names, to help me avoid. As I’m looking at ‘potentially’ visiting next week, or I might give the place a miss. Cheers.
