Petty crime pays. Burglaries are never investigated and criminals are let of with a slap on the wrist .

Sentences are soft because Prisons are full. Prisons offer no rehabilitation or deterrence. Criminals come out worse than before going in.

There is a catalogue of glaring issues that the government has done nothing to tackle (except cut more Police).

There needs to be a massive clampdown on crime, better rehabilitation and stricter sentencing.

I know for a fact, corruption is rife in TFL.

The only reason he got re elected was a deliberate poor campaign by the Tory candidate, at first the policy was to scrap the ULEZ extension, but that was very quickly dropped, he was set up and knows it.

Even then it was closer than they expected, and they may do it again, not sure it will work twice though, people have had enough of the puppet.

It is never going to happen, an Athlete getting stopped in a car in the early hours makes the bloody news, fair enough he got a rough deal 2 years ago, but if Plod cannot stop a car leaving London in the early hours on empty roads without it being newsworthy, where the fuck are we going ?

The buck stops at the top, regardless of the WOKE and SNOWFLAKE bollocks, someone has to take ownership of crime.

Kids and now crippled pensioners are being killed in broad daylight on busy roads ffs, I could almost Guarantee that if I drove my truck west on the A40 out of central London, over weight or with a fault, I would be nicked, yet this happens and nothing

I would rather not visit that city again, it's seemingly become a hell-hole of violent crime on a daily basis and nothing seems to be getting done about it - (other opinions may differ)

There is nowhere in London I would not go at anytime of day to be fair.

From my background I am no stranger to things being sorted with a punch up, or run ins with the law, I enjoy a day in court pitting my wits against them.
The big difference is respect, for elders and coppers doing a job, you get caught either take the punishment of fight your case in court.

Things like this though are totally beyond comprehension, there is no respect for elders anymore, they are a target for cowards when the bigger person would care for them, as I have often done locally, but this has sickened me.

What could the old boy do to anyone? get in the way for a few minutes? If it was robbery, what could he do to stop it?  80 years to come to a pointless and needless end.

Fighting your corner in the world you live in, with people around your own age, black eyes and broken teeth, handbag stuff really, but WTF possesses anyone to carry a knife in the first place, but doing this is simply wrong on every single level, I cannot get my head round it.


Of course the Met will flood the place with coppers, to reassure the public ffs, they can find coppers for the street after the event, why the fuck are they not out there looking to stop the event ?

Got round  the corner  seconds before they cordoned off the road.  Counted eleven police cars  three vans and an ambulance.  The air ambulance  was circling overhead.

I see from today's local news there had been a "targeted " stabbing   and they have someone in custody.

Fair enough but did they really need  14 vehicles  to attend?

He also had a mobile phone on his lap, and drove on for 5 minutes after first being asked to stop. Basically…anyone of any race or creed could have been asked to stop in those circumstances, and expected first few questions to be feisty (because of not stopping immediately).

Every time I drive through Central London in the Early hours I am amazed if I am not stopped, the excuse about safety does not wash, there was nothing else on the road, and failing to stop is reason to arouse suspicion.

I have often indicated or pulled alongside and said I will pull up in a safer spot, or stopped, got out and suggested it, rather than just ignore, fucking knob.

Bad management. I saw 4 different police vehicles attending a minor crash near me in Bristol. Too much attending; not enough or even no investigating - eg burglaries.

Not too far from me a little girl had her cut throat whilst playing in the park. She was 7 years old and it was Mother's Day.

Reports at the time said she was practically decapitated but I think they watered the report down for the parent's benefit.

They rely on grasses, I mean public information, but are alienating the public  , They do not act on a lot of CCTV or vehicle trackers, and police the roads by camera, while they drive between take aways, in the BMW office and race each other, mob handed to a call.

The pictures were good so someone may have been able to identify him though perhaps not many people knew him as according to a few on here he must have been an immigrant whether from the EU or further afield 

Ironically the victim was originally from Ireland so I guess he's an immigrant too
