Paying for taxis

Hey
What is the best way to handle being asked to pay for a cab?
I wanted to book a lady for £180 and hour but she wants a cab home. That a quick Google search could cost £80!!
I don't really have that sort of cash as that's basically another booking just on a taxi.

Anyone got any advice for coming to a compromise?
I may just book her in the day so she can "safely" get the train home

There’s only one way to handle it and I think you’ve already answered your own question.
You either fork up for it or don’t.

I have often driven them home late at night, would not put them on public transport at night alone. Have never been asked to pay for a cab home, some prefer it to being driven home and book and pay themselves.

Sometimes they just stay until morning , not often though.

Only you can decide what you do.

you are making a number of assumptions here - that she would catch the train during the day or compromise on taxi fares etc.

An £80 taxi fare is a long way - even if that £40 each way its still a reasonable way - why not pick someone closer? or if you are really keen on her then just accept it as a cost of seeing her. I am assuming that she doesn't do incalls!

Its quite simple really - you can afford her as an outcall (including taxi fare) or you can't.

checked bolt taxi app and 20mile journey is around 50 quid.

I have never paid taxi.

I suppose the offer of a lift after is reasonable. A percentage of girls don't like to accept lifts at the start of a booking, but all do, if I have offered at the end.

Found that too, but as they do not know you, and need to protect their own privacy it is the obvious choice.

One I have seen often has never accepted a lift, but it has always ended in the early hours, and she showed me the Uber price and did not want to drag me out seeing as I was already naked in bed, Good girl

I always presumed it was safety related, at the end of the day, when collecting them I am just ‘man in car’, when they come to my address, they can let someone know where they are.

That is sometimes assumed, but take into account travel time means no bookings either side, and it is a debateable subject.

I tend to go for those only offering outcall, and never been asked for travel money.

How is she getting to you in the first place? If she's shipping a driver a 20 to bring her to you why not see if he'll take another 20 or 40 to stay about and take her back?

Unfortunately it’s not enshrined in law 

I don’t tend to do outcalls, but travel fees seem to be a similar opportunity to add to the cost.

It depends on how far the girl has to travel.  In my experience, most girls include it if travel is reasonably local, but there are limits.  The OP stated that he wanted the girl to travel between North and South London, and I wouldn't expect a trip between say Wembley and Croydon to be included for example!

That is why some SPs have minimum 2 hour bookings for outcalls, but even then many will expect you to pay travel costs.
It’s not just the cost of taxi but her “lost” time.
Normally they can make more from doing a couple of incalls without having to get dressed and get their shit together.
