Text Threats from pimps - anyone else experience of this type?

I received a text threat today and I don't know what to think, whether it's real or someone just trying to scare me off.

Admittably I have made quite a few texts this week to many girls on VS,. sometimes you never get straight replies and as you know they rarely advertise what they actually do in reality. So I always call and ask directly if they do the services advertised that i WANT. IE. FK, OWO ETC. (THOSE ARE THE TWO MAIN PRIORITY FOR ME) and in the past I see so many girls that have said they do these services but when you turn up they don't so I always ask. Similarly with the Asian girls always are fake photos so I call and I ask for photo verification, but they rarely provide one, so unless they do then I don't go and I don't book them.

Brazilians, in the the last month have been pissed around by Brazilians and had two really bad punts with two girls, there is one or two thought that I still fancy but I I cannot get a reply or they reply and they say they are available but then ignore my texts when trying to book a time.

So as a result I have texted lots of girls in the last week to try to get a result - but for some reason non worked out.

Today I received a threatening text which kind of has me worried and don't know what to think. Anyone else received anything like this in the past can advise me what should I do.

This is the text I received.

MY NAME (not sure how they got it)  I'm contacting you now Because of a big investigation we're doing against you and because you've been contacting some girls in an unusual way some girls who work for me I'm the boss of the whorehouse where they work and a member of the most dangerous gang in this place we've been having problems with people contacting girls all the way you did just to annoy and we're not allowing that I have a group of people at my disposal who researched your phone number information in the next few hours you're going to start receive threats of all kinds we have your information and what we need to get to you my people know this place perfectly if you want to stop this you will have to pay a fine that is imposed on you to solve all this otherwise there will be no solution for this

Every time this comes up on here, and it comes up a lot, I say the same thing, go to the police, it's illegal to make such threats.

Have to agree with you. He will probably be asked to fill in a crime report which will be filed away and that's as far as it will go . Pretty sure they are not going to be sympathetic to someone who is looking to pay someone for a sexual service.

Yes I agree, and I guess they would want to look all through my phone at all the messages and history on there, which is a bit embarrassing .

UPDATE: touch wood, I haven't heard anything else yet. though i did block that number. though i think if they really wanted to pusue they would just contact me again on one of there other phones

I agree with the sentiment and for the record I just tell them to fuck off but they prey on the ones that don’t want the fact they punt being known.
I don’t know your personal circumstances neither do I care, but saying go to the police whilst admirable isn’t always what most punters will do. Yes the police aren’t going to tell the wife / girlfriend but many won’t take the risk.

Why do the police keep getting a bad rep.
Getting threatening messages…. Then report the fucking thing. The police couldn’t give a flying fart that your a punter for christs sake.

Post the number of the person blackmail so they can get spam calls.

If it’s not personal number (should never be) change your number.

They don’t want exposure so they can extort you on the low so blow them up, give them that unwanted exposure

The fact is the more people reporting it the better chance the police have of stopping it, these scumbags rely on people with the attitude that it's a waste of time reporting it or are scared they won't be treated sympathetically or have the report dealt with in confidence.

If anyone is threatened like this they could phone the police and explain the situation and ask how confidential the report will be then if they still aren't happy hang up, but at least the police will know it's going on.

Are the threats coming from a UK phone number? If so, then report it.
Ideally try to string them along and try to get a delivery address for the payment.
However most of these calls seem to either get routed through a Dominican Republic number, or through a faked WhatsApp account, neither of which the police can do much about.
But either way there is nothing to be scared of from these runts
