I just need to give some background about myself. I'm a 25 year old male with severe anxiety issues and chronic low self esteem. You'll see how this comes into play later.
I'm going to also attach screenshots of the WhatsApp convo so people can see. I understand people may be sceptical of what I'm about to say as she is well reviewed and known, so I have attached proof of my experience. Here is the link below:

I first met SophiaCeleste/TantricMia in the middle of June for a 1 hour incall. I had previously researched her and seen that she was well reviewed. Her adultwork profile also seemed fine in terms of reviews. Anyway I contact her and she asks me for a £30 deposit because its my first time seeing her. I know that she didn't used to take deposits before, so this must have been a new thing for her.
Regardless, I pay her without question and the meet is secured. The meet went fine. She was very friendly and accommodating and everything went well. I ask her whether I'd need to pay another deposit for a future session and she says I wouldn't as I now know where she is and have seen her. Flash forward 2 weeks and I ask it she's available for another incall. She says that she is, but this is where it gets weird. She asks me for ANOTHER deposit saying its "because of evening time and availability"
This explanation made no sense and contradicts her telling me that I wouldn't have to pay another deposit, but regardless I paid her. From my point of view, even though I found it weird, I didn't have any concrete reason not to trust her. After all, she is well known and I'd met her myself. So I paid her. On the day of the scheduled meet, she messages me 30 minutes before cancelling the session. To her credit, she offers to either resend the deposit or reschedule. I say let's reschedule, she offers new times for the following day. I then say I can do that time, but then this is where it all gets weird.. she just doesn't view my reply. Hours go by and she hasn't viewed it, so obviously the booking didn't go ahead.
The following day it's now past the time of the proposed booking so obviously it didn't materialize. I message her and tell her that I assume something came up and that it's OK, and that she can keep the deposit and deduct it from another session or resend it. She then views my message but doesn't reply, which I find a bit rude. I begin to think I've done something wrong so I message again asking her whether she would be OK with this or would rather just resend it... and again, no reply at all. She's clearly opened it but just isn't responding.
I found it odd and assumed something had happened. A few days go by and still nothing. She still has my deposit from cancelled session. As you can see in the imgur link, I send a VERY understanding message saying that if she is going through an emergency or something that its OK and that I'd understand. I tell her that all she has to do is let me know if something happened. She opens my message, but no response... keep in mind I have offered her every single way out here. She could either keep it it she needed, she could resend it, she could deduct it, etc. But I am left without any response despite it being 5 days since I gave her the deposit.
At this point, I begin to think I've been scammed and I am distraught. But I am also in disbelief. How could she scam me? She offered to repay it and I've met her, she seemed like such a nice person. And it just didn't make sense as she is previously well reviewed here. I showed other sex workers the messages and they were confused too. The situation was VERY strange.
The following day, I send ANOTHER message asking her to please update me. I reiterate that I'd be OK if something came up and that all she has to do is just tell me. I even tell her if she's guilty or embarrassed about not being able to pay, she shouldn't be. She opens it and doesn't respond...
It's not like I was sending messages and she wasn't opening them. What made this strange is that she opened every message I sent, but she simply didn't bother to respond. Which was honestly incredibly rude. All she had to do was spare a few seconds and say "yes something happened". But I wasn't even given that.
Days go by and I wait before sending a new message. By this point, it had been TWO WEEKS since I had paid it. I eventually catch her online and I send a message dated 11th July in the screens where I tell her politely that I think it's unfair to leave me without a response. I reiterate everything I said before, that I'd be understanding. I also leave a voice note where I sound a bit fragile and upset, because truth be told I was. I'd been nice and I felt like maybe I was being scammed.
She then sees my message and responds and apologizes, claiming that she had an issue and she only just got back from it. She then asks for my bank details and says she will repay it in 24 hours because "authentication takes a little while" with her banking app. So at this point I didn't think she was a scammer, because she could have just taken up my offer to keep the deposit, but instead she is adamant she can repay it. She even tells me if I choose to book her again that I wouldn't need to pay a deposit again (I mean this should be expected really because she was claiming deposits are only for first time clients).
Well a few days go by and nothing... I ask for an update and she then says she has to go to the bank and deposit cash and that she can do this by the end of the week. This was a completely different explanation to her saying that she needed to authenticate her app, but whatever. A day later I asks if she takes same day bookings and she says she does, and that she could book me in. I say I'm not available that day and she says that's okay and that as soon as she has electronic money she will resend the deposit. Now she is claiming she has an "electronic issue" which is preventing her. So we have 3 different excuses, 1) authentication issue on app, 2) she needs to deposit money into bank and 3) electronic issue
Well a few days go by and I have availability and ask if she is available. She opens my messages and again doesn't respond... at this point it just seems rude. So a few days go by and I ask her if there's an update with her electronic issue, and yet again no reply... despite the fact that she opened my message.
It then gets to the 23rd of July and it had almost been 1 month since I had paid the deposit. I send another lengthy message telling her how long it had been. I basically reitetats what I said before, that it would be OK etc. Hell I even say sorry for sounding like I'm pestering.. she views it, no response.
Now I said earlier but I have chronic low self esteem and a history of being taken advantage of for money. I began to feel like absolute shit, I felt pathetic. But I still held out hope that someone who appeared as nice as her wouldn't do this to someone.
On 24th July I send longer messages basically regurgitating what I'd said before.. that I'd be OK if something came up and that there's no need for her to feel awkward or guilty if she can't repay. She views it and no response...
And then on the 25th, is when I really got upset. I had thought she had issues come up and that she had been busy, but I checked her adultwork profile and notice she had changed it to include new details such as taking on full service bookings and other stuff. This left me distraught because she had essentially been ignoring me while also just updating her profile to say she is taking bookings. And to make matters worse, I check her adultwork feedback and notice that she had a feedback dated 8th July, which was during the time she was ignoring my messages about the deposit. Also during the time she claimed she had issues which "she only just got back from".
I felt utterly distraught and pathetic. This person had just constantly lied to me and had zero respect for me. Basically taking on bookings etc while ignoring my deposit questions. I was in genuine disbelief. As you can see in the imgur link, I send her a message telling her how she has completely ruined me mentally and lied to me.
And her response to that? "Its just £30, I'm sure you have spent more on bullshit". WTF!!! This was one of the rudest and most disrespectful responses I had seen. It stank of entitlement, but also showed her true attitude. She simply didn't care enough about it, to her it was a small amount and so it didn't matter. She also essentially gaslight me here.. she says it's silly to be obsessed over £30, and the worst part is her other comment. "You can recover it through traditional routes". She's basically taunting me here, telling me I can go to some court or something. I could feel the contempt behind the screen.
Unfortunately, I'm very vulnerable to gas lighting like that and so I basically end up aloglozing to her. At this point I fuck up a bit and send several messages in a row basically begging to call. I was in a state of anxiety attack because I felt I had done something wrong. I have a bad history of being gaslighted so when I think I've done something wrong, I really go into panic mode and try to apologise. So I tried ringing her a few times and asking if we could solve this issue on call. Her response was "if you keep disturbing me, I'll call the police. I'll pay you back by end of week".
Holy shit did that trigger me (I realize now they can't do shit but in that moment I didn't). I felt absolutely awful and then I end up apologising to her again telling her to keep the deposit. At this point, I'm left utterly destroyed by this situation. I haven't included the screens of those messages as they're triggering for me, but I can share them via PM if anyone wants.
It's only after a few days where I show people the messages that they tell me I'm the victim in all this. I showed other sex workers and they were in absolute shock, and they reassure me that her behaviour is unacceptable.
Honestly, I feel worthless and pathetic. My self esteem now is zero. It might sound silly to some but I truly feel weak. I just want to sleep all day now. I feel an anxious and weak. I have just allowed her to keep the deposit now because I can't be arsed with it.
Do I think she set out to scam me? I'm not sure.. I don't think she intended to. After all, she offered to repay it, turned down my offers of her keeping it and even offered to book me in. However, she clearly lied on multiple occasions, gaslighted me to think I'm the problem and treated me with no respect. My belief is that she simply didn't care enough about it. In her mind "it's just £30" and so it wasn't a big deal.
However the situation just strikes me as strange. First of all, her incall is in a really dodgy area of Nottingham. Very rough rundown place. And asking for a second deposit is highly unusual, especially for an incall. This suggests that she desperately needed quick cash, and contrary to her claims of £30 being a small amount, I think she genuinely may have money issues. To add to this, I spoke with another client who saw her years ago, and she is asking him for a deposit too. That's in spite of the fact that she has already seen him. Something is weird.
Maybe there is a pimp situation going on. I've read about this before. Although I'm not entirely convinced that's the case.
I just think the worst part of all this is that she is a really nasty person deep down. I don't think anyone with a heart would say "it's just £30 I'm sure you have spent more on bullshit". That was like a jekkel and hyde situation where the true personality came out. It was quite unnerving really. She presents herself as being nice and caring, but what kind of person would treat someone the way she treated me? She seems to have zero empathy or guilt about this. I suppose there were signs though, she was previously banned on UKEscorting and even this website too.
I wish I knew what is going on but I just can't say. All I can say is that somentjng isn't right. Deposits are supposed to be to filter out people who cancel, but she has a chronic history of cancelling of clients. Couple this with her dodgy incall location and disrespectful behaviour and honestly I think something fishy is going on.
Anyway, that's it for me. Absolute nightmare situation that I feel broken by.
