Or if you want you can consider it like this.

For climate change consider the league history of Watford FC. (Other football clubs are available)

Now it doesn't mean that they will rise up through the leagues each season being a bit better than the one before. It doesn't mean that they could not have been in the top flight or have their highest ever position in the 80s.

Or that they cannot be relegated or even spend the odd season in the third tier.

But on the whole they are spending more time in the top flight than at any point in their history, and their stays in the top flight will be more frequent and longer. And the thoughts now of them being in the fourth tier are beyond realistic comprehension.

Close thing in West London, very nearly more houses gone, it got to the gardens.

Sort of thing you only see in other countries .

I used to catch the train through Feltham on a regular basis. Every summer the train would be delayed at least once due to a fire trackside. The fires never got as out of hand as much as this recent blaze.

I always used to wonder if it was just a coincidence that the fires occurred so close to Feltham Young Offenders Institute.

Blimey! It might not be as hot as last month but it feels much stuffier and more oppressive this time. I've noticed media aren't banging on about climate change this month either, most of the reportage seems to be just focussing on water shortage and dried up river beds.
