You state that like it is a fact. Personally I do not buy the propaganda that we are brainwashed etc etc etc. I am capable of forming my own view and tend to think that people who fall for the minority views are often the weak of thinking ones. I have considered the evidence etc and I think it is fairly clear who is the evil fucker in the Russian/Ukraine conflict.
Every state uses propaganda, we only have to look at the lies told to us during the covid so called pandemic. I'm not one who throws out good and evil labels, ask yourself why overnight the west banned RT? if Russian propaganda was so ridiculous why would they be worried, and the crazy western media who have continued the narrative that Russia has been loosing and bogged down, until only the last few weeks they have had to now slowly change the story, Russia has taken Lysychansk, oh but they're still barely winning lol,

I'm one to agree with Professor Mearsheimer who is of the realist school of thought, he speaks about great powers politics, he puts the blame mostly on Washington's neo cons and Russian hating loons like Victoria Nuland
External Link/Members Only We can go all the way back to the 2007 Munich speech Putin made, where he told the crowd the end of the unipolar moment, he was pissing in their faces. The next year at the Nato Bucharest summit Bush wanted to announce Ukraine and Georgia would join Nato, both Sarkozy and Merkel were very much against this, but the US runs Nato and they got their way. Only a few months later the war in Georgia occurred. Russia will not allow Ukraine to join Nato, whether you believe a sovereign state has the right to or not.
At the moment Ukraine is a de-facto Nato army, it has been trained by Nato since 2014, at around 10,000 troops a year, one reason why tbf the UAF have given a good account, but the truth is Ukraine is taking unsustainable casualties in dead and wounded, the core of their professional cadre has been hollowed out, and the majority of their weapons have been lost, we are now seeing middle aged men on the battlefield, as Kiev sends territorial defence reservists, who are untrained and ill equipped. The US and Nato know that Ukraine can not win, but Washington is using them in their proxy war with Russia, they will fight Russia to the last Ukrainian!
And in the meantime people put Ukrainian flags on their profiles and we pay £2.00 per litre
