So Pogba is on the verge of Re joining Juventus on a free transfer.  So that's £89 million United pissed down the drain on the laziest most over rated player to grace the Premier League.

Plus wages, and agent fees, seems to be more leaving than arriving,  :D

Don't forget the commercial revenue contribution that players like Pogba Ronaldo Messi etc generate for the clubs they represent. Agree Pogba was a disaster of a signing... But it's history now. Time to move on. Be very interested to see how he produces at Juve. Always difficult to return to a club played forsuccessfully previously.

Be amazed if Pogba's commercial revenue draw is anything even remotely significant.  Ronaldo and Messi are on another level.

Agree it's usually hard when players return but Pogba was just lazy and disinterested most of the time.  I'm not a United fan but it really annoyed me when he used to make out as if the club were very lucky to have him, and any problems were down to the club (e.g. he blamed managers, he blamed poor quality around him, etc).

Offline webpunter

At least it hasn't been the usual summer pogba saga, as in previous years, where he goes on about a whole load of stuff
Crticising the club, obvs, at every opportunity
Wanting to win trophies blah blah bollox
Then when he gets fuck all offers, buying clubs put off by the transfer fee & wages, he does an about turn & says he wants to stay
He gives it the beans for France however for a club he could easily be disruptive in the dressing room

if only the owners would invest, lol, has there been a club in the history of english football that has wasted so much money, get rid of these ridiculous prima donnas, ronaldo should be shown the door too.

Sorry to break this to you but she was probably pricing you up too in terms of how much cash you had and whether it was worth her getting her knicks off, looks like she didn't smell enough of the filthy lucre  ;)

It was funny coz at the time she had some bloke BF in his mid 20s who was her fitness trainer (hanger on)

I must have had the look of pupils widening & she smiled

If she's pictured hungover she can look ropey
From maybe 10 feet in real life she is facially stunning
Mesmerising eyes, fit legs / bod & a mahoosive rack, obvs

I must try harder, good luck bumping into her in Blackpool  ;)

I see Manchester United have bought out their new shirt for the coming season.  One thing that puzzles me though. Is that Christmas trees on the collar ( to indicate their season will be over by Christmas) or is it a helter-skelter ( to indicate they will be sliding down the league this season ) 🤔

I see Ronaldo is trying to take his off already

Perhaps it's Christmas trees to denote that this is the shirt they will be wearing up until Christmas when they bring out their 2nd kit and get Kids to spend their Christmas money  :unknown:

If it's arrows then presumably there is some sort of logo on the back of the neck saying "Whose the prick wearing this shirt"  :D

I read last week that the player's club were aware of the first allegations last Autumn but continued to field the player.

Today, it's reported he will still play.

Given most folks assume they know who it is, I think the position will become untenable once opposition fans start screaming abuse at said player during games.

When I watched the footage of what was going on outside the ground I and i'm sure many others thought it was another potential Hillsborough unfolding.
Thankfully nobody was actually killed and at least it didn't take 30 years to get a conclusion this time

Not the easiest of first games, away to Newcastle with the way the atmosphere is now, Arsenal couldn't cope at the end of last season.

I suppose at the end of the day Forest must have offered him the best deal  :unknown: I think of the three promoted teams they will do ok and will survive their first season back in the Premier League. They have a sound manager in Steve Cooper. I predict Bournemouth,  Leeds utd, Everton, Southampton,  Fulham to be involved in the relegation battle. I think Everton's long run as a top flight club could come to an end. Brentford may struggle too ( 2nd season syndrome)

I hope your right Radioman. Coventry punched above their weight last season,  I'm not sure we can do it again. We have a good manager in Mark Robbins but we need to hold onto our few decent players. A push for the play off positions will be a good season for us and I think we will comfortably finish in the top 10. Hard for teams like Coventry to compete with the clubs that have been relegated from the Premier league with their parachute payments especially as the owners of Coventry ( hedge fund company Sisu) invest very little money in the team. At least we are back playing our home games at home . Our first objective is stay up, then anything after that is a bonus.

3rd Place.. Chelsea, some decent signings.. tuchel doing well
4th place..??? I say Man utd.. new manager looks promising, arsenal NO. Tottenham, not sure

I think Spurs will get 4th, I think United are too far back to even compete. Spurs have made some good signings, I think Bissouma will do well there and Richarlison is a good back up to Kane and Song.

I agree I think Man Utd will be 6th or 7th. It will take time to re build that team, still a lot of deadwood to get rid off. Newcastle with their newly found wealth will be top 7 or 8 and will be a top four team in the not to distant future challenging the likes of Man City and Liverpool. Spurs look stronger and should finish in the top four .
