No. IMO, it makes little difference to the BJ, and might be a slight negative effect, but it is a big negative to kissing. But I am just a grumpy old git complaining about modern youth, so the usual rule applies that you won't know until you try for yourself.

Mature as in over 50? Rare to find a pierced tongue.

Most 20 something will have loads of piercing and tattoo these days.  Doubt you need to ask. 

The 30 to 40, not as common.
