Comms: Were good, polite, easy. Booking request made

The event: Hotel and room given. Arrived on time, all good so far. No answer when I knocked. Double checked room and messaged again. Also tried to call, no answer. She suggested I was at the wrong room or hotel. Tried again and more attempts made. Eventually she offered to rearrange. Triple checked and was at the right hotel and room. She messaged politely through all of this. Not the first time I have had this happen as I’m sure other have experienced. Triple checked and was at the right hotel and room. Made a record I was there as recommended on this forum.
Why offer to rearrange if the client failed to find the hotel or room given it would appear I hadn’t turned up and was a time waster? I left negative AW feedback and got the same in return.

Conclusion: I wish she had just been honest if she didn’t want to see me or had a better booking come up. The pretense I was at the wrong hotel or room was silly. I suspect maybe she had seen I had a (fake) negative review on AW (lots of positive too). Again I only ask for honesty. Waste of time.
