For occasions like this, you'll be handing over quite a bit of cash for the trip, and most likely covering meals, drinks and activities for the duration. If she's expecting a handbag or something like that on top, you've fucked up your booking.

Is it just me that thinks this post is made up ? I have recently been to Spain and had some great punts there, all organised on the day , or the night before. There is absolutely no shortage of gorgeous WG,s on the Costas. How, (and more importantly, why), would you book a Slovakian several weeks in advance, when you have no guarantee that she will turn up. Chocolates were always purchased from the Airport, something they couldn't get in Ukraine, hardly any of them ate many, so they would last the whole trip, but made the meetings seem extremely luxurious from their perspective. Many an Instagram picture was taken before my punts 😁

I paid for the flight myself and she gave me her details for the booking. She has now told me that she will refund the cost of the flight at the end of this month. Originally she said she would not do this but the agency seems to have persuaded her to do the right thing.
