The RNLI are there to save lives at sea, regardless of where they come from.
Targetting volunteers is the quickest way to get a Life Boat Station closed - if that happens, I hope these protesters are the ones that can't be saved because there's no lifeboat.
RNLI volunteers are now being told they may wish to not wear RNLI branded clothes etc for fear of attacks / abuse  :dash:

There was 'Bugsy'.
But there has been for decades an effort been made to suppress the idea that the Jewish mob was peripheral rather than central to the story.

I know someone who if the Lifeboat had been a miniute longer in finding them and getting to them, they wouldn't be alive today.

Very bad sea and weather, had to be taken off the lifeboat via helicopter to hospital very brave selfless men, and women these days too.

I suppose they'd even drag the protester scum out of the water if they were required to do so, they don't discrimate.

The real issue is trhe actions of the French and English goverments, thats where their ire should be directed.

Not villifing sme very brave men..

How likely will there be an early election in 2027 do you think?

I think it would be like turkey voting for Christmas if Mr Burnham decides to call an early election.

Very good, you have proven you can use Google.
What you have also done is shown that the very definition of Apartheid (which includes the copy and paste below) is exactly what is happening and has been happening for years in that region.  By the way I travelled in Israel many times and saw it with my own eyes.

International Law
Crime Against Humanity: The concept has evolved beyond South Africa. Under international law, apartheid is defined as an institutionalized regime of systematic oppression and domination by one racial group over another, classified as a crime against humanity.

And you’ve proven that either you have no reading comprehension or you’re just hard of thinking, your apartheid comparison is completely wrong-headed and diminishes the very specific historical crime that was South African apartheid. You cheapen the word.

South African apartheid was a formal legal system of racial classification and permanent, hierarchical separation imposed by a state on its own citizens within a single sovereign nation: race determined citizenship, voting rights, residence, movement (pass laws), marriage, education, and access to services. It was explicit racial domination designed as the permanent order.

This is clearly not the situation within Israel where their Arab citizens (roughly 21% of the population) have full citizenship, vote in national elections, sit in the Knesset, serve on the Supreme Court, and hold senior public positions. Sure, there is undoubtedly discrimination and inequality - as there is in many democracies, including ours - but there is no legal architecture of racial hierarchy that denies them basic political rights.

I think he probably uses Claude which only goes to prove how both AI platforms have been set up to propagate Zionism.
There were so many lies in that diatribe that I would be here all day pondering where to start.
I'm reading a book at the moment which lays out a lot of the business relationships which went into the founding of the Zionist colonial project (and indeed the forerunners of what ended up as the CIA) and it is literally like reading a history of organised crime in the USA and beyond.
Ever wondered why there are so many Italian mafia movies but hardly any about the Jewish mob ?
And coincidentally why Hollywood has so many movers and shakers of a certain group ?

You’re both wrong, but regardless I note that yet again you don't address any of the specific points.

Cba, I’m comfortable with my stance on this, you carry on defending how the Israelis treat the Arabs. I know they are treated like second class citizens.
It’s like Apartheid and that in no way whatsoever lessens what happened in SA.
I’m not ok with a group of people being treated like they are because of their ethnicity, it is morally wrong.

I’m not defending anything, I’m saying that words have meaning and you cheapen them by misusing them.

Arab citizens of Israel have the same legal rights as everyone else; under apartheid native, coloured and Asian citizens had different rights to each other and lesser rights to Whites.  These are facts, and it’s a pretty fundamental difference. Arabs facing discrimination in Israel is not the same thing as apartheid.

You continue to remain non-specific about the things you claim to have seen.

Yeah they were previously promised a cut of the tariff money and DOGE cut cash but still no cheques have arrived, some people will have benefited massively though as no doubt Trump himself and other rich buddies / family have all had kick backs one way or another even if it's in the form of a tax cut to the super rich.

Like many people I use AI to assist in composing any long piece of text, to improve readability, remove inconsistencies, check whether my argument is supported by evidence or not, etc.  I use Claude and Perplexity extensively at work, sometimes Gemini if I need to create visuals.  I rarely use OpenAI or Llama at the moment but that can change. xAI is useful in some cases.

Regardless, what you get out of AI depends on what you put in and the extent to which you iterate and/or modify the output.

So yes, I will run a long post through AI.  So what?

Do you have any counterfactuals to argue any of the points yet?

From the BBC article on the subject:

Quote
“On the one hand it sounds a bit like a bribe, vote for the Republicans and you'll get money, which would be decidedly illegal," she said.  "But on the other hand it would go to everyone, regardless of how they voted so it isn't in that sense a bribe.

"I think it would be legal. It's the same kind of campaign pledge as saying 'if my party wins we'll reduce taxes'. Every party does that all the time... and that's obviously perfectly legal.

According to a BBC news report I saw today, the migrant boats are offered assistance by the French whilst in French waters and these offers are refused by the boats- but surprise surprise, once they are in English waters, they accept help offered then by the uk boats/authorities!

Whatever your views on the boats and migrants, the RNLI offer assistance at sea to whoever needs it - and does not ask about the nationalities or ethnicity of those in “need”! I am not a fan of the way  we currently do things but we have to remember they are people and although they take stupid risks, we cannot just ignore the dangers they may be in and let them drown! To my mind we need to do more to stop the boats leaving France and then also just automatically fail asylum applications from anyone entering the country illegally! If they know they won’t be given asylum if they come illegally, surely most won’t come- ok we will need to have some ways they can apply for asylum from outside of the uk! But surely that can’t be too difficult can it?

It came as Labour was ridiculed today as it emerged the aviation minister boasted about giving Britain’s air traffic control ‘increased resilience’ – just a day before it went into meltdown.
