I'll ask the usual question. How did a Syrian fighting age male doctor who operated on my mum 3 months ago in the NHS take your job? (which is the usual argument, here they cone taking our jobs and women). If you want to bring down that bill maybe look at the £800m profits the businesses hosuing them made last year, thats your money being spnt to prop up hotels, HMOs and other housing systems that have been built over time just to drain the government of tax payers money! I reckon they can fix immigration too, but I also see 50% drops in crossings this year - cant say shit weather as a reason either as its been glorious - so it feels like that is working.
