Inexperienced and naive punter here. This woman has her's ratings and feedback chosen not be shown. And for a reason.

E-mailed her for a punt, she replied and gave her OK. Then the day of punt I called her again to ask if all is ok and for directions. Everything seemed fine and she seemed friendly too, yet just as I called her to tell I'm about the place, she started tellig porkies how landlord just came to inspect her place and I had just hung up. Cannot stand bullshit.

Sorry you had a bad time, feeling like you've been stood up by a WG sucks.  Landlord is Polish for `I'm terribly sorry but something urgent has come up and I must cancel on you at the last minute'. 

Chalk it up to experience then young grasshopper, next time don't put all your eggs in one basket.  I could find myself 5 back up numbers for Swindon I reckon.  Although EE girls can cancel and be flakey, they're more likely to be sitting around and available for you at the last minute.  I recommend Czechs and Hungarians but I've been lucky so far.

Were her ratings hidden when you booked? Big red flag that one, fella. If a WG has hidden feedback, I won't book them - just to be on the safe side, no matter how good they look.

As JV says, having a backup plan is a good idea. That way if you get screwed (no pun intended) at the last minute, you've always got somewhere else to go. Try researching the profile on here first next time you want to book - just put the number from the end of the profile URL into the search and see what comes up.
