Actually question about using another name to reserve a room: how do you actually do that? Don’t they need some ID when you check in?
First let me clarify, you will most likely be tracable by the hotel, even with a fake name. But your real name can be hidden from the SP’s/agencies.
Tracable because most reputable (budget or high end) hotels will require ID if you pay by cash. No ID is required if you pay by debit card which doubles up as your ID.
Now then, I use dayuse. You can reserve a hotel, usually from 9-10am to 6-9pm same day. I reserve under whatever name I choose. No deposits required and cancellations are free. I show up at the hotel, give them the name or show them the reservation screenshot from my phone, pay with my card and that’s that. No ID is required.
I’m sure my example holds true to other forms of third party reservations. The only hiccup I can foresee is if you pay a deposit, where you would have to use your real name somewhere on the online form.
Hotels may ask you to fill in a form once you are there. You can give a fake address. It’s not part of the payment, so your card won’t bounce. Hotels most likely won’t give a shit, because you will be traceable somehow after the payment anyway. (Criminals with stolen cards being the exception).
Last time I did this was back in last summer 2021 with Kingley and had no problems. My first ever booking with KL was an outcall, but I used my friends name as I checked in with his card. He booked a apartment/hotel for a few days for his mistress after I had my booking.
Subsequent outcall bookings with KL and any outcall bookings with UKGG my name or room number wasn’t required as I was known to them and had several incall bookings with both already. By that time I stopped caring about using my real name as I was happy with payments not showing up in my home address. And TBH I just couldn’t be bothered anymore. I still filled in the forms at the hotel with a random address and no ID was required.
