Makes sense considering tech is a well paid industry which a) attracts these types and b) provides the opportunity for those who work in it to punt at the higher end.
Also, as an unintended consequence of b) and going by how often NBA policies are brought up within that circle, I feel it's made me notice how much appreciation for East Asian pop fiction there is among black folks so that's really nice to see
