I think it's a widely held view that many escorts "lose" 2, 3, 4 or more years from their profiles. I know one escort who does this because it's her understanding that clients believe escorts do this. Her thinking is that if she put up her true age,  punters would think she was older than she actually is.

There's an escort on AW who gives her age as 28/29 but, in her FAQ, states that she's 35 (though that was on her profile over a year ago, so she must be at least 36). She does that so that if people search by age she's seen by more people.

So, if a punter saw an escort, believed she was older than advertised, and had the chutzpah to complain to Trading Standards, or the ASA, would they be obliged to investigate?

Just a thought, but unlikely to happen.

As long as she looks like her pics, I don't give a shit what age she is TBH. It's the girl you're after. Yes a lot bull shit bout their age. Am guessing they think it'll help their search function and that we are all after young birds. But having fucked various ages , it's all about the technique.

That is correct. A 'contract' with a prostitute, escort or escort agency is one of a class of contracts that the courts will not enforce because they are 'void ab initio (from the outset) on the grounds of public policy or illegality. It is said to be 'binding in honour only', because there was never a contract to enforce in the first place. The guy in question would have been better off posting a negative review on this site.

Incidentally, the same applies to your 'contract' with Camelot whenever you put your lottery on. Camelot could refuse to pay your prize and there'd be bugger all you could do about it. They wouldn't of course because it would destroy their reputation; but then again, if they ever lost the franchise....

I don't believe that one for moment. As if they were wanting to do it for this, then increasing their age would be the likely way to best acheive this but you never once see them doing this. Its always knocking a few years off.

It bothers me quite a lot quite frankly and the reason for that is a girl of 27 will act very differently to a girl of 22. Its not just looks but peoples personalities change quite a bit between early 20s to late 20s.
