Saw the positive reviews and wanted to give her a go but got messed about twice, yesterday and today.


Yesterday i wasted a 2 hour return journey and she cancelled on me because  I didn't respond to her text 30 minutes before the session. I didn't receive the message because I was on the train.


Today I booked for a morning session, got the confirmation text out of the way. Even told her I was on my way. Then I got a cancellation text when i got to the bermondsey station. Another bloody 2 hour return journey wasted

Not sure if this has been mentioned before.
Chántelle does not doesn’t handle the phone. She has a long standing maid who does (from the front room) so Chantelle wouldn’t have known or stood you up. Possible you got kicked out for a regular - she has lots of them.

Sorry to hear you got fucked around. My experience is that the maid takes no prisoners. She's paid to maximise sales so she doesn't really care too much about punters. As bonapati implied, you probably get treated differently if you're a known regular. Things might be different if Chantelle had a dusty phone but I got the impression that business is solid.

I got bumped 20 minutes before a booking, but I don't have a 2 hour journey time at risk.

I agree that there's a second person in the sitting room jockeying the phone. I've been told that all numbers get wiped.

Every time I did get to see Chantelle, the session was brilliant.

Even with that maid, her business is still solid. Just goes to show that when you get into the room with her, the service is solid. Still, that is terrible luck OP, and the negative is well deserved. Maid can go do one.

agree. we've all been in a room and asked to extend, or asked a regular SP to make space for us, and I'd always respect a SP who declined on the basis of a prior booking. I know regular customers in all businesses get looked after, but taking a booking and then ghosting or backing out is shit.

I've been dicked around about four times by that receptionist in recent months. I've learnt reconfirm before popping the pill finally heading to the meeting.

I've taken risks to go to locations way out of London with 90 minute lead times. There is no doubt about the risk of being stood up, if it is a first time meeting. I've learnt that things rarely go like clock work when dealing with AW indies.

I'd say, have a plan B but there ain't any in Bermondsey. You'd have to get back on the Jubilee line and be prepared to move around for a second target.

OP please tell me you had a Plan B at least. 2 hours? That's 2 hour commuting time travelling to be in pussy for less than 45 mins realistically if you booked an hour meet. Mate....she can't be worth it surely. Hopefully on your next punt you don't get messed about.

If you have your own transport then you're about 5-10 mins or so from several Thai and Chinese parlours and flats in Rotherhithe, Surrey Quays, Canada Water and Tower Bridge Rd.  Slightly further and you'll find some dodgy scratchings along the Old Kent Road or in Deptford and New Cross.
Over Tower Bridge in another 10 mins gets you to the target rich Aldgate/Whitechapel area.

If you're using TfL and shoe leather then the station is about 500m away if you get stood up at the door, once back there you can get to alternates along the Jubilee fairly easily but it will chew up time. Soonest you can be eyeing up an SP might be 30 mins.

Unless you want to take a hail Mary Long shot with a Brazilian and pay 50 bucks over the list price for anything more than "being in the same room" "companionship" 🤣

Within 2-3 miles radius of Bermondsey station there's a host of options at different price points and service types.  Your tastes aren't everyone's but there are a lot of positive reviews, including yours, and known places with variable and conditional records.

Yeah actually good point. I wonder if Chantelle knows though? Perhaps just doesn't give a shit, the money keeps rolling in I guess. Hopefully OP had a plan B lined up, if not, lesson for next time

I must say, both times I wanted to do half hour, so that may have been why, but even so, it was seriously frustrating. But I do really enjoy her service when I'm there and it's only twice in the last fortnight out of many many visits this year that I've had to deal with poor phone service.

It's particularly fucking annoying because there aren't very many Plan Bs in that region, especially not for that price anyway.

Both times I ended trying new SPs later in the day, who were both brilliant (reviews to come), so not a massive loss, but it's wasted time and energy I'll never get back.

Yeah one attemtped booking was midday and the other around the same time. I vary the times I see her, but it's usually early in the day.

The first time it was all confirmed, then the slot we'd agreed got pushed back once... then twice... then radio silence.

Apologies, when I said "new SPs", I mean new to me, not new to the circuit and both out of your usual budget range I'm afraid.

Nah, they were both over west bruv. I'm doing my reviews in a sec, but they're both £100 for half hour SPs.

Like others here I have been booking Chantelle for fully nine years since her days over the kebab shop in Old Street.  An occassionally haphazard attitude to bookings has been a consistent theme over the years. Because she takes a prudent view of her offer she is currently one of the best value bookings in London for the services available in my opinion but I think this is a case of you get what you pay.  I book on the day and confirm my departure (so she KNOWS I am coming). 

Last time I saw her she had put on a little weight and the service was slightly more perfunctory, but no talk of retirement which had come up in a previous meeting.

Easier said than done in Bermondsey. There are no alternatives there that I would consider. You're looking at a journey from there if she busts you out.

This isn't to defend Chantelle - I have personal experience of her being unreliable - but if you can orchestrate a lunchtime booking you probably will not need the back up.  Beware also that if she has a flat mate and one is indisposed then you may get swapped; it has not happened to me but she told me the adverts are designed to make this easier.
