I just want opinions on this.

Traditionally, I splash out a bit more at this time of the year on punting as a Xmas present to myself. Despite wanting to, the uncertainty of this bloody Covid is concerning me.

Being cooked up really close to a SP who may see god knows how many clients per day must be up there in the higher risk category of contracting covid but, on the other hand, I could get hit by a bus or drop dead of a cardiac before finishing this post.

Might be last chance to punt if we get locked down……..

I just want opinions on what others have decided to do,  whether to crack on as normal or be more cautious

Thanks

All about attitude towards reward and risk.

Is it any riskier than going to the pub or theatre?

I would rather see an SP than risk going to an overcrowded community centre and then standing in line for a vaccine  :sarcastic:

If reported positives are doubling every 3 days then it’s less risky now than next week.

There's a lot of rumours about either a 2 week circuit breaker coming in around New Year's eve or what is more likely a full lockdown starting on 07/01/22.   Either way IMO stick to the SP's you know locally rather than travel miles & miles at least you'll have more idea how Omnicron is circulating locally than in an unknown area.

It's all about assessing the risks and accepting that it IS a risk.

First, many SPs state they are vaccinated. Second, according to the man in charge of these matters in South Africa where Omicron began, it is very mild. Third - my opinion - I am triple vaccinated and never give the matter a second thought.

Of course morons think vaccination is not a good idea though they were almost all vaccinated against smallpox. But as Goethe put it, even God can't help idiots.

The good thing about the smallpox vaccine is that it stops you from getting smallpox. If only the c0v1d vaccines stopped you from getting c0v1d. I'm not anti-vax, but there's a huge difference when it comes to the current situation.

It all depends which head you are thinking with.

A combination of less urge to punt, increased prices and less opportunity will keep me away until 2022 at the earliest.

Who would have known there were so many doctors and experts on the forum!

Of course it's a risk, fair enough if you are taking the risk for yourself.  If you are then taking that risk on behalf of your family or parents, just make sure the punt is going to be worth it!

Lets bear in mind that we run the risk of catching all sorts when we put our intimate bits in line with other peoples intimate bits (I'm not talking BB, I'm talking like kissing and OWO etc etc, or catching a seasonal flu,. or herpes, or anything). Risk and (raunchy) reward is this industry, my issue is that there less taking my fancy for a possibleraunchy reward these days that make it worthwhile taking ANY risk.

My view is people will be more cautious as others state there is a real risk, but then it’s always been there to some extent. If people are willing to take the risk only they can make that decision but I will certainly be waiting until we are well into the new year.

I’m sure Prossie logic will lead to further increased prices, as I am sure fewer punters start using their services especially if movement restrictions are brought in by the government.

Time will tell I guess.

Crack on - we’ve had vaccines but what is going to change after a lockdown?
Get on with life

Very suspicious now of who benefits from all this

New variants will appear inevitably - I’d rather live my life and take my chances than lock myself away and have none of life’s pleasures
When would the pro lockdowners have us allowed out again? What will change?

What is this "prossie logic" you and others refer to so bitterly? It is identical to every other commercial logic. The basis of a capitalist society.
It is the freedom you and I and all of us have to get what we can for what we do. If you aren't getting what you can for what you do, do something else. If you can't, learn something new. In the case of a whore it could be learn to be a domme and charge more without having to fuck.
At the moment foreigners are unwilling or unable thanks to Boris and Brexit to come here and get paid more that they would at home. So wages for waiters are going up, fruit is unpicked and so on.
And when people get fed up with shortages of health care workers, either their wages will go up or more people will die.
This is all very, very basic economics.

As others have said, its all down to your risk tolerance.

A busy wg will see, what, a dozen or so guys for (30mins - 1hr) in a day?  So compared to a busy tube train, pub, or tesco at peek hour, the wg will be far safer than any of them.
But on the other hand, physical excretion causes heavy breathing and that is was causes the particles to spread more easily, and obviously you are in much closer proximity than while you are buying eggs and beer.

So the wg might see less people, but have a higher chance of spreading it if they do come into contact with it.
Do you want to roll the dice on weather she saw someone who was infected this week?

Personally, being in a slightly elevated risk group, I am sticking to cheaper (and safer) option of internet porn until the world calms down.  At this rate, I dont expect that to be before the middle of '22, but given how badly we are handling it, and all the covidiots marching and making everything worse, probably a fair bit later.

Apologies. I’d not seen that as I very rarely go on the main boards, I just stick to North West and Yorkshire

Feel free to delete if necessary.

Sorry.

This!

The amount of double vaxxed people I know who have caught COVID is increasing all the time. No one likes to talk about that though..  :unknown:

I think it’s time to stop wasting everyone’s time & just get on with life as best we can. Media sensationalism everywhere, everyone arguing because they’ve read/heard something different.
Just get on with it.

Funnily enough I think it's time people took notice of reply #17, the one just above your posts.
