What happened to the ‘punt next week’ you posted about in August ?

What about the trip to Ukraine and all the punting there ?

See the problem ? Always asking for advice, help but no action after.

I’m going to suggest, stop talking about it and just get on, and see a working girl for real, then decide if punting is for you, I can sure as shit see that this forum is not.

You have been a member here for two and a half years. As has been stated, you are full of questions, with zero contributions. Maybe just shut the fuck up unless you have some useful contribution to make  :unknown:

I think rules should be set where someone with 0 reviews should not be allowed to ask questions here

Yes I agree but allow a few weeks first.

Explain how that would work  :unknown:

The problem there is that the Europe pages don’t offer reviews. I’ve read some great stuff off guys who are based overseas or who only punt away from home.

I’m in favour of letting those with zero reviews on here, but if it’s a request for a one way street as regards info, we all tell them to fuck off.

I must admit I probably fall in that category. Only rarely do I seek business locally or indeed the Country but often indulge abroad.
But with the “Europe section” set up how it is the specific reporting of a lady/ladies is rather difficult.

I doubt he’s bothered enough to be offended.

Dumb list of questions anyway. There’s plenty of info on the threads for anyone who looks. Of course the hypothetical trip could get cancelled for hypothetical work related reasons so if everybody wrote a page they’d be out of date by the time the next numpty questionnaire hit the forum.

The date someone joins the site is shown in their details. Give them say 6 weeks to review or contribute, during which time they can ask for help.
After that no review, no help.
Doesn't have to be 6 weeks that's just a suggestion.

Six weeks? Just a suggestion, but how about folks are not allowed to suggest new rules in, say, the first 10 years they are on the site?

Because (1) I'll help who I want to help (2) I won't help who I don't want to help in spite of (!) Pegman8 and Fitzjew trying to be a mod and telling me what to do.

No need to get your knickers in a twist, all I ask is you respect the opinions of others, without necessarily agreeing.
I respect your opinion but on this occasion I don't agree with it. Simple as.

As my comments started off "I think rules should be set " keywords here being ' I think ' which means it's an opinion, I do not own this site so any suggestion isn't us trying to be Mods or dictating how you should run things. Happy days and keep up the good work also

A reason to discourage posters with no track record from posting questions is that they can be better served by using the search facility.

This is in addition to not wasting members’ time by repeating what can be found in old threads or entertaining time wasters.

Setting rules would have the disadvantage that hoaxers and wasters could too easily study them and fake their way round them with superfluous posts or even dummy reviews. There is (or was) a similar objection to barring p4ps. Trolls (and prossies who would identify as punters to get access) can be dealt with by mods but very hard to prevent them by means of rules.

The mods are doubtless charged to use common sense (and probably spend a lot more hours of their life trying to sort such things out than we do). So in the absence of new ‘rules’ I suggest a short hint to the OP and then let the mods do any moderation they think appropriate.
