When I pointed out we had in fact had very few exchanges - and amicable ones - she never bothered to check but repeated the same message.

Plenty of fish is true. I can't get to see all the ones I'm looking at. I put this up partly because I was pissed off. But also to fulfil the purpose of this group: advise other members. Since she actually knew and took the trouble to date the last time (of the three) that we'd exchanged messages the dozens of requests you mention hardly applies. Arrogant bitch.

I didn't ask for anything in particular. I was polite and somewhat flattering. What was weird - in fact unprecedented for me - was that previous exchanges had been cordial and friendly.

I would even have paid a deposit, which I have only done once (mistakenly ) in 6 years, since she has a good rep. I am as much puzzled as irritated sInce she is clearly not normally an idiot.
