So the latest edict from the wise ones on Downing St to the CBI is to stop being so reliant on EE/European labour! Up the wages for the needy British andset up apprenticeships in sprout picking.
5000 visas for truckers and 5000 for poultry pluckers.

They all expire on Christmas Eve! I’m sure they will all flock over.
THERE IS A THINKING GOVERNMENT.

I’m sure every one of us is happy with our lot.

Are you?

My sincere apologies for my oversight. I realise my comment was over the mark.
We have just returned from the house in the Spanish mountains after 18mths.
The village folk did wonder why I came back.

But there you go!

I’m sorry sorry sorry again.
PP

For clarification

We have not Been  able to return in 18 months, so we got back for 4 days.
I’ve had my wrists slapped.

Are you saying you’ve just set foot back in the UK for the first time in 18 months having been holed up in Spain?

You've been visiting the site though so not sure where you're located has got to do with it.   :unknown:

Quite right. But my reviews, however sparse, might give the questioner a clue as to my domicile.
Going back soon though.

Yippee!

I still don't get what you living in Spain has to do with you starting a political thread when you have been a regular visitor to the site so should be aware of the rules.  :unknown:

I'm not sure he's been living in Spain for 18 months despite the way it was worded making it look like that the subsequent posts imply that he's been in the UK and just visited his Spanish house for 4 days  :unknown:

Looking into it he hasn't been in Spain all that time but at that said his location is irrelevant as to whether or not he should be aware of the rules.   :hi:

Yes agreed people should be aware of the rules regardless but especially if they have been in the UK and still using the site, I think the post was badly worded and I was wondering how someone in Spain could post UK reviews within the time limit which is why I concluded he was in the UK and the 4 day house trip was to Spain

Thanks for clarifying what he meant! I was wondering how he’d managed so many reviews in the last 18 months if he’s been stuck in Spain…

I am,
problem is if you keep bringing in cheap labour from EE when the million and a half come off furlough at the end of this week and many maybe potentially out of work, they may not be happy if cheap EE labour is doing it.

Maybe you returned to watch some quality sport live or theatre or take in a good gig which you cannot easily get in a village in Spanish mountains.
