Yes, first meet is always via the agency, the only other route is meeting the girl at one of the hangouts and starting the relationship direct.

I'm sure it's not only me who takes this approach, but every little helps in this punting climate. Key elements are that the initial punt has to be great, there needs to be some form of trust/connection where you feel she might be happy to spend more time with you and you want to see her again, you think she can introduce you to her friends for similar arrangements, duos etc. Agency pricing is such that the girl is paying cuts to a manager who runs the business plus the agency who advertise and take care of the switchboard so there is margin to play with that doesn't really exist on AW where prices are generally not so ridiculous and there are less greedy mouths to feed, so it's a win win transaction where you both save money. The dangers are that the punter starts to thing the girl likes him in reality, fact is she probably feels comfortable with him and likes his cash or, in less common cases she gets klingy in a financial sense and wants more.

The difference is that we are 'local' & vitally have access to UKP

Cant see myself getting to 500 for the hour let alone 750-1000

I've paid 200-250 for an hour a few times & about 900 for 5 hours on an outcall, though with the hotel drinks food
& some bolivian marching powder for the burd [i kept of it mostly as this & sex dont work well together], the total was about 1,500

Am going to do a few more expensive Awank burds, as a bit of a blow out which i haven't done for a while
